My brothers paintings.

Here are some pictures that my brother has painted. The five first is from his last exhibition and the four there after is at least 24 years old and hangs on my walls here in my cottage. Unfortunally I don´t have the names of the paintings.

Here are the older paintings and the colours is a bit distorted because of not having the best of light with or without flashlight.

Have a nice day now!

Thanks for showing your brothers paintings.Sadly I am not a good judge of art but I can see that he indeed has a gift of expression in presenting his perspective of things. Although I myself could not paint a finger:>}(finger paint haha thats a joke)!
I did enjoy seeing his work.

Hi Woody!
:-)
I only go after how I feel about the painting. If I like the colours and the feeling of the painting, then I like it. The newest paintings are cind of sad I think and that is what I like about them.

Christer, dear friend, I like your brother's paintings and particularly am drawn to #'s 1,3,4 and from top to bottom as displayed in your blog. Yes, I do like his work!
#3 projects mirth and chagrin ... Norse-women's legs just won't quit, will they? They just keep a-going longer and longer making the likes of my limbs look like they're tucked under my torso w/ only my shoes showing. Hmm, what's going on here! Poor rounded, close-to-the-floor, GeeGee!

No matter, As I say, I like your brother's work very much.
#'s 6 and 7 are my favorites ... #6 is the best. I love that one! Great fluid lines and color, poetic ... Lamentable. Yes, that one is exceptional to me.
#8 captures my eye and mind, too.
Lucky you, Christer!

Thank you for your encouraging words, my Swede, about my story ... I don't know if I dare start a novel. It boggles my mind to even think of that! But ... it's a thought.
If I one day went mad and wrote a novel, I would have to include you in my dedication.

Yes, time for spring - Time to plant and (maybe) write - open the flood gates and free the words to roil in frothy waters.
Take care, GeeGee

Hi GeeGee!
I see that we think much alike about the pictures! On picture / the white square (a tooth actully) disturbes me a bit.

I understand that thinking about writing a novel is frightening. Writing it is ok, but if one sends it to a publisher and they reject it? I actully have two novells I´ve written, but I´ll probably keep them to my self. I´ve promised a friend that she can read them, but I think it will stop at that :-)

But I think You at least shall keep everything You written on paper copies, that will be a treasure for all comming after You in Your family. Nowdays one can make books without publishing it and it´s not that expensive either. A perfekt birthday gift or Christmaspresent to those in Your family!
Love Your writing anyway!
Christer.
