It´s dark outside when I gets up in the morning now. This picture is taken 5:00 am. But that is summer time, so the clock is really 4:00am.

I´m a bit tired , so this will be a picture blog today. The sky has bocome pale blue and for the two comming days they say we will have summer temperatures here. But already on Friday the rain will come back. But we need it to be honest. My boss has no water at the moment, both his wells has dried out now and that is after the most rainy month of July in fifty years. Well that´s all for today.
Have a great day now!

Ratibida pinnata, Yellow cone flower. My absolute favourite in my garden!

Pelargonium zonale.

I was a bit surprised when I found these buds on one of my epiphyllums, we call them leave cactuses.

hi christer. it is dark here much later too. with how early i arise i am up for hours before the sunrise comes up. i am a bit of a vampire i think. i would rather be up and about when it is dark and i am not a sun lover at all. i love your mushroom pics! i love mushrooms to look at and to eat. a local specialty is mushroom sandwiches. mushrooms are fried in butter and chopped into small dice and mixed with salt and pepper and a bit of cream cheese. then it is spread on bread and fried in more butter on a griddle. mmmm...they taste like fall. i am really ready to start my fall cooking. i just need the cool weather. joyce

Great pictures!
Perhaps differnet names are used for "jordfelsbrytare" in England/Europe & USA?

Hi Joyce!
I like sun as long as I don´t have to stay in it. Shadow is more my thing then :-) In summer we have daylight for almost twenty hours here, in winter it´s the opposite.

That sandwich sounds delicious! have to try it here now when mushrooms are everywhere!
Have a great day now!

Hi Nina!
I think it might be different names on the watchamacallit :-)
I´m a morning person so it doesn´t bother me much to go up at those hours. But I like to wake up without the help of a clock though :-)
Have a great day now!

Hi Mona!
Í learned that we should call all fungi for mushrooms in school. But isn´t there a special fungi called mushroom too? We call them svampar, that means fungi in swedish, unless we know the name of it as for instance chanterelles.
Have a great day now!
Christer.
