Foggy morning.

I normally don´t post anything here on wednesdays, but I felt that this morning was so beautiful with all the fog so I took a couple of pictures to show You. Autumn in closing in, there´s almost never fog on early mornings in summer. I love these foggy mornings as long as I don´t have to drive around in the fog, then I hate them :-)
Have a great day all of You!

These are great photos. Love the fog too but rarely get to see it like this here in Florida. I especially like the one of the portal. Guess we see that open soon, eh Christer?

Hi Z&M!
As long as I don´t have to drive in this fog I love it. But driving in it!!!!

One never knows when the leafs are falling. If we get an early frost, should be in early September if thing goes like they used too, they´ll start falling shortly after. If not the leafs can stay a long time in to autumn.
Have a great day now!

Hi Joyce!
As lonf as I don´t have to drive in fog early mornings I love it :-) For some reason the fog gets so thick here that we can only see about 30-50 meters (100-165 feet) ahead. Not fun to drive then.
I´ll enjoy it :-)
Have a great day now!

Hi Christer.

Lovely photos of the fog. Hard to believe that autumn could already be approaching.

Here in the midwest (Kansas) summer has returned with a vengance! After a cool and rainy June and July, we are expecting lower and upper 90s (F) for much of this week and next. Oh well...it's the norm I suppose. We've been spoiled this summer.

My favorite fog photos are all of those with the country roads or your sweet red home in the background.

Thank you for the birthday wishes for Mary Catherine,
Valerie

Hi Valerie!
It´s something special with fog that helps doing the surroundings very beautiful, sort of softens it all out.

We´ll have a couple of days with summer heat again, but I can see that it´ll be colder within a few days again. It hasn´t rained this much here for over fifty yeras as it did this July. I think many people will be dissapointed with the weather on this vacation. I think it was quite ok though. Vacation is for relaxation and that I´ve done :-)
Have a great day now!

It was 98 degrees here in Riverside today..and I don't know about you, but Summer seems to be racing by. Fall, I think, is my favorite time of year and my favorite song is "Autumn Leaves." I love to play it on the piano ...and often do. Today I found myself leafing through Christmas music, of all things! :)
I love the fog. I think because it makes you feel isolated, as though there were no other world but your own...sort of a gauzy curtain around you. I LOVE rain!
Never been fond of a lot of sun...but most folks love it. Maybe we have too much in California.. :) Hardly any rain this year. Not good.
Wonderful photo's, Christer! Just wonderful!
Thank you for your nice comment. It made me smile..

P.S. I won't know of the results of my test until the doctor calls me. I am a bit anxious but I am trying not to be. They pretty much told me in the hospital that I would have to have surgery. I just hope it does not come during the holidays...as those are my very favorite times..IF I really have a favorite. :) Thank you for wishing me luck. I probably need all I can get at this point!
I have a wonderful support group..with my huge family and my wonderful friends both off..and on my blog!
I tried to pick a favorite photo...and I can't. They are all wonderful though I favor the one with one of your dogs, #7.

Hi Mona!
Yes summer´s just running bu it feels. It´s not that important with the sun for me any longer, as long as it´s warm I´m happy :-) But spring is my favourite of them all. When everything is new and green :-) But autumn with its chilly mornings and smells from mushrooms and decaying leafs :-) We have broken rain records all over the countru this July, some places has gotten over 300% more rain than usual.

I´m so used to surgery nowdays that I don´t think of it at all. But I do hope that I´ll get it soon on my left hip. Would be nice to be able to sleep a whole night or just take a walk without thinking if I can make it back again :-)
Take care and have a great day now!
Christer.
