First work day after four weeks of vacation is never a nice day :-) But it wasn´t that hard to get up to be honest. Normally I would only have slept half an hour longer, but it´s the feeling that vacation is over that is the hard bit :-) But the morning was cool and I could see that the sun was about to rise over the few clouds that was present at the sky.

This time of year nothing flowers in my woodland, instead different ferns have taken over the place.

My new lawn mower did its job. Before all grass was as high as it is on the right side :-)

I was totally alone on the roads on my way to work and since I always is early I could drive slowly and look at the surroundings. There wern´t a single animal out there either, but I could see a tractor slowly going towards the silos to sell what was harvested the day before.

It´s a good year for plums here. This one becomes yellow when ripe and tastes delicious :-)
I wasn´t to surprised when I noticed that they had forgotten that I started to work today :-) So I had to phone the owner to see if he knew if I could do anything during the day. He on the other hand was very surprised to hear that I was at work :-) Well, there were a few things for me to paint, but it took only a couple of hours, the rest of the day i was surfing the internet :-) Since it became very hot outside after a while I think my dogs thought this was a perfect day, we sat in an airconditiones office all the time :-)

My apple tree is splitting in the middle. For every year that passes, the left side comes closer to the ground. I´m still not sure if I will cut down everything or save the right side of the tree.

Just two pictures of what I can see from the yard at work.

I don´t feel like sitting all day tomorrow too, so I´ve taken the day of and since I´m free on monday too, to get to the doctor and hear if he´s thinking it´s time to do anything about my hip, this was really a soft start after the vacation :-)
Now I can hear magpies in my kitchen again! They take the cat food if they get the chanse and since Orvar is sleeping just beside they know they have the chance. That dog doesn´t have any feeling for hunting at all, he just loves all creatures in the world :-)
Have a great day now!

Can You see the little fly hoovering on the left side of the photoe?

Boss pays you and doesn't even care if you work or not. WOW. Sign me up. I'm flying over. Really great way to ease into a job again after three weeks of entertaining your blogger friends with wonderful pictures. The ones today are great as well. I sense your work site is also in the country as that looks like a farmhouse in the distance. I can also see the fly in the last picture. It's a big fly. Hope your doctor visit goes OK. Be sure to let us know.

I was absolutly sure that they had forgotten that I started today :-) Vacation makes ones head stop I think :-)

My workplace is on the edge of a small village, so direktly after the farms starts. Even bigger cities stops abrupt like this village here. It´s either forest or farms that starts directly after them.
Have a great day now!

Hi Joyce!
I love soft starts after my vacation :-) :-)

Our heat wavwe stops on tuesday, then cold weather and rain comes back they say.

I think it will start to cool down in early september here. August can stay warm for a long time, but in September the days will be rather much shorter so the summer heat woun´t be here then. But these last years have been rather warm all autumn.
Have a great day now!
Christer.

Yes, I could see the little fly hovering. I also loved the color green of the plant or tree. It looked a bit like pine. What was it?
I think animals are like people. Some are lovers of all things...with no wish to harm. Some are not.

´Hi Mona!
It´s a kind of spruce, probably an Abies concolor. We call it Colorado spruce. I like them because they have a layer of wax on one side of the green. They get sort of a silvery shining when it blows.

Orvar definatly loves the whole world :-) and I think that You´re right there.
Have a great day now!
Christer.
