I just got the camera ready to take a picture of that sunbeam :-) It was much bigger when I saw it the but it closed down so fast.

It´s getting dark outside and it´s not even 7:30 pm. But the clouds, that woun´t give any rain they say, makes it perhaps darker than iy would be otherwise. I´m wondering about what to write about today, but I´m totally blank in my head. The weather is much the same as the last weeks weather. The news are much the same too. I´m not even irritated ovar bad commercials on tv or radio either :-)

Now autumn colors can be seen everywhere.

There are no flies outside or inside my cottage to get irritaded over either. My dogs hasn´t done something strange or funny and my cats are sleeping downstairs. I have some books to read if I like to, but I don´t like to :-) They´re not that good to be honest.

We went in to the forest when heading back home. This is one of the roads they made so many years ago when they thinned this part of the forest the last time. For some reasons trees doesn´t grow on those roads.

I could make a pot of tea, but then I probably would have to pay for that in the middle of the night. For some reason I always stumble over Orvar on my way down. Last week I went down to answer the telephone and didn´t light the lights. I sort of jumped over the place he usually sleeps at, just to stumble over him a bit further away :-) :-)

But I have just started a subscription of the National Geographic, but that paper wount come for yet another couple of days. I like that paper so why not start the subscription when I get two numbers for only 69 swedish kronor (about 8 US dollars) and I will also get a digital weather station for free with the subscription. So I´ll at least have something to look forward too :-)
Have a great day now!

The changing of the colors for Fall is a good subject today Christer especially when you show these beautiful photos. I like them all. The woods looks dark and a little eerie but that's because the colors are there and it will soon look brilliant like it's on fire. More reds will be there by this time next week. Great post today.

hi christer....your place is so beautiful as well as your photos that i don't think i could ever tire of seeing it even if you don't have a lot to write about. i always imagine what it must be like to take that wonderful walk with the animals and sit on the steps drinking tea! it looks so peaceful. the larger piece of furniture on my post is an old french piece. i bought it the way it is and never altered it. the other piece was new about 15 years ago. i don't like new furniture much. i was redoing my back yard at the time and it was totally torn up and muddy. the day that piece arrived i had the workmen help me un-crate it. then i threw it in the mud and stepped on it and pushed it around in the gravel. then i hosed it down with water. the workmen looked at me like i was crazy. but i got the patina i wanted on it! joyce

I am with you Christer I too have nothing to say. It seems the days are just like the others and nothing is happening. I may have something tomorrow since the next 2 days we are expecting 100's...so that means staying in the house with the A/C.
Have a sweet day!

Hi Joyce!
It´s so peaceful here that I sometimes wonder if every one else in the village has died :-) :-) Not even if someone has a party there´s any noice here :-)

That´s one way to get patina :-) :-) :-) I´m not sure I woulkd have dared to do like that :-) But I have to say that You have succeded well with it!

I´m not especially fond of new furniture either. So most of my furnitures is second hand from the 1940:s. But I wouls really like to find something like those fournitures You showed today!
Have a great day now!

I meant to make comment on commericials...
Some of ours are so good that I actually look forward to seeing them. I think one of my favorites is one that the same girl does each time..and it is an insurance for cars. They just get better and better! :)
The ones for some sort of sort throat commerical that is made in England is just horrible. HORRIBLE! :) So we have our terrible ones too...but Englands is the worst!

Hi Mona!
We do have a lot of good commercials too, but I tend to forget to mention that. Some of the funniest are danish over here. The worts one can find is the german ones, they are so bad it is disturbing!!
Have a great day now!
