I woke up this night with cramps in my left leg, not the best way to wake up I can say :-) :-) I went down to the kitchen and noticed that the moon was yellow lika a cheese. Well that doesn´t show in this picture, but I like it anyway.

The day has started out as rather cool and cloudy, I like it a lot after the last heat wawe. It was only 12C (54F) when my dogs and I took our morning walk :-) Most of the flies were still hiding in the bushes and the cool air made me feel easy and free. Summermornings here is usually rather cool. We seldom has over 15C (59F) and even if I don´t like cold weather especially much, these mornings are usually the best part of the day.

The clouds lay low this morning. I wonder if it´s fog rising or falling down?

I get a morning newspaper ( Göteborgsposten or in english I think it would be Gothenburg post) all days this summer thanks to my oldest brother. They subscribe that paper and sometimes they can give away the paper for a very small cost. I love to read all small articles that most people never looks at. Like one yesterday. It´s about two robbers in the US. They went in to a little store to rob it. One of them put top dollars on the desk and quietly told the cashier that they were robbing the place and that she would give them the money. She then gave back the two dollars she just got and the robbers ran away :-) :-) :-) I think those two needs a change in career :-) :-)

The clover is flowering everywhere now. It´s really beautiful if looking clooser.

A couple of years ago I read about a swedish robber too. We can call him Sven. He didn´t have any money at all or food either. So he came up with the great idea that he should rob a store nearby. He masked him self as good as he could and went down to the closest small store. He showed something that could look like a weapon and demande money. The cashier then looked at him and said: But Sven, wouldn´t it be better if You just borrowed the money instead? :-) :) :-)

I have never sown this plant or even had seeds from it. It don´t think it grows in the wild here in this area, so I wonder where it came from. Scutellaria galericulata, Skullcap. I like it though and it´s allowed to stay in my garden. As You can see my cottage is in desperate need to be repainted now.

So now I have vacation :-) Today I´m not going to do anything. There will probably be rain later today, so I´ll just stay indoors and take it easy. If I´m not starting with the pond again. Would be perfekt to get it filled with rainwater as much as possible. But first I´ll tak a little nap I think. I´ve started to eat all the breakfast cereals now. I have to say that they only makes me hungrier. Not what I want from a cereal I can say :-)

Cats are funny. If they wants to get out when I open the front door and it rains, the emidiatly runs to the kitchen door and shout there. It´s like they think the weather will be better on that side of the house :-) This can continue for some time until I stops it all :-) My dogs do the same, but only one time. Cats seemes more optimistic in a way :-)

Have a great day now!

Funny robbers storys today Christer. Thanks for the humor. And yes, I agree, it's time to paint the exterior of your digs over there. Probably the bad weather roughed it up a bit. Cats are sooooo independent. Mostly in their thinking and I can say although mine never go out so don't bother going to the door, they chase lizards from window to window and you'd think they would know that they can never catch them. The lizards, I think, are smarter than the cats. It's funny to watch them.

Hej Marianne!
Jag har en svensk blogg också, men eftersom det är stora problem med att komma in där för att både läsa och skriva där sen ett tag tillbaka skriver jag bara då och då där. Men problemen kommer att lösas och då är jag igång oftare där igen. Men välkommen hit i alla fall!

Tack skall du ha, men egentligen är inte trädgården så där jättespeciell, det mesta består än så länge av gräsmatta :-)
Ha en härlig dag nu!
Christer.

Hi Z&M!
Some people should understand that they aren´t smart enough :-) :-)

The new enviromentally good colors just aren´t good enough to keep algies away from houses any more. We have a very rainy climate here and algies love the north side of the house.

Yes cats are special :-) Can´t help loving them just because of thet :-)
Have a great day now!
Christer.

Tihi. The Criminal carrier isn´t that easy sometimes.... for some...;-) We had a robber of that kind in this village earlier. Ones he broke into one of the local grossery stores: nude & greased with fat he climbed in through a chimney. But then he found out there was no way out! The doors were not possible to open from inside! And he was no longer able to climb back through the chimney! So one other man who came driving through the village saw a naked man desperate running around alone in the store. He called the police & they could just pick the naked man up!;-)
(All the other stories ´bout him is of the same kind!;-)...)
Great to have morning paper on your vacation!;-) Guess you have good time now!
Well... we all complained ´bout the heat earlier... But now - at least I - think it´s to cold! I want it to be "lagom"!!! Hey, you... up there: please!....;-)

What an interesting picture of the moon! Nope..not like yellow cheese..but you are right...it's pretty with the clouds like that.

It has been awfully hot here..sometimes in the 90's, but knowing what is still to come...I am happy with it just very warm! It's wonderful when we have a marine layer..it stays just perfect. Nice picture with the fog in the distance..

The American robber story was funny but yours was even funnier. :)

Your first day of vacation was perfect...doing nothing is wonderful sometimes! That's what vacation time is for..doing what YOU want to do and not what you have to do!

If it's raining at one door..the cats go to the other ..thinking it won't be raining...hmmmm...I must try that! LOL :)
Take care, Christer..
I'm glad you liked my dishes.
My hot cups of tea are usually in my big red mug...NOT fancy dishes. :)
Just so you know...:)

Hi Nina!
Some people should think about a career change :-) :-) Greasing him self with fat! :-) :-)Wonderful!

Today it´s not that great to have the morningpaper, because it´s raining cats and dogs outsid. I have about 200 meters to my mailbox and neither I or my dogs wants to go outside now :-) :-) But otherwise it´s perfect. The only thing I don´t like is that they don´t come with the paper on Sundays. I get that paper together with the Monday paper. BUt it´s for free so I woun´t complain :-)

I actully thinks it´s okey with this cold weather now, but it mustn´t continue too long. It can rain and be cold this week and perhaps a day or two more, but then it has to be warmer again!
Have a great day now!
Christer.

Maybe...just maybe a little bird brought those lovely flowers to your garden.. :)

Hi Mona!
I agree with You, vacation is about relaxing and doing what we wants to do. To many people planns their vacation minute by minute and they usually are dissapointed when it´s over (and not very relaxed either, their autumn will be a nightmare without any breaks for holidays).

I´ve tried to do like the cats, but it´s always the same weather on both sides og the house :-) :-)

I never have any nice dishes when I´m alone in here at home. I would onlky break it in pieces :-) So when drinking tea I have an over twenty years old tea cup from IKEA. I had five from the beginning, but have broken them one by one :-)

I was alsoo wondering if it might have been a bird that came with the seeds. Either that or one of the storms we had last year.
Have a great day now!
Christer.
