For a moment the sky cleared last night and the moon showed itself for a while.

I´ve always wondered what program I needed to put my name in the bottom of my pictures so I looked through the computor and found Microsoft Picture It. After a while i understood that it would take to long to keep doing that, but I did it on allpictures taken this morning anyway. When I was finished it refused to save my changes. The computor said no all the time. It was also impossible to leave the program if I didn´t delete all changes I´ve done. Sothat´s something I woun´t do again :-)

We met Teodor on our morning walk. He was thinking that a hare bigger than himself would be a great breakfast :-) when we disturbed him and the hare ran away :-)

The heat is on as Agneta Fältskog from Abba sang on one of her soloalbums. But it´s not as killing as it was yesterday. It´ll probably be even hotter today, but I can feel the cool front comming clooser now. There will surly be a lot of thunder when it comes because the temperature will drop from over 30C (86F) to around 16C (61F) in just a couple of days. We had a small thundercloud passing just over my cottage. It mumbled for a while but no rain and no cooler air so it was a bit of a dissapointing I have to say :-)

It was hot already at 6:30 this morning.

Why not roll around in the dirt when wet :-) He´s not the cleanest of cats :-)

I made an update on explorer yesterday and I regret that now. It´s impossible to write my text on a word dokument and then paste it here into my blog. That´s something I don´t like. It does happen that something one posts never reaches the blog and if it´s written down on a word dokument it´s only to past the whole thing one more time. Well done is done so I just have to get used to it.

Tomorrow my last working week before vacation starts. This will probably be one of the longest weeks in my life :-) Well it´s like that every year to be honest. I never do especially much during my summer vacation because we don´t have a single holiday until Christmas and that can feel tough sometimes. Well that´s not totally true, we have two in November I think but they are placed on Saturdays so most of us don´t get any free time because of them. I don´t think I´ll continue very much longer with the way I work now (Saturday until Wednesday) outherwise I´ll get to use those holidays :-)

Now the light blue delphiniums has started to bloom.

Now I´m going to make a pot of tea and after that go out into the garden to see if I can find something to photograf and show You tomrrow here.
Have a great day now!

This poppy came as a weed with one of my plants and now it self sows and spreads slowly in the garden.

Sorry about all your computer problems Christer. That's the down side to this wonderful technology. I'm sure someone who reads this blog will help you out. Great photos today. Love the cat pictures! Have a happy 4th of July!

Hi Z&M!
Well the computor is old so I´m not surprised that things doesn´t work as they should. But I´ll by a new one this autumn and then I think most problems will be solved :-)

Well I´m working tomorrow, but I´ll do my best to have a happy 4th of July!
Have a great day now!
Christer.

Hi Christer.

Thanks for dropping by. You always leave the funniest comments...I can just picture you in the ocean, mom on show paddling her arms shouting out directions to swim. Like they say, "Sink or swim!" Funy!

Your pictures are beautiful from the past several days. I especially like the beautiful orange sunrise.

61 degrees (F) sounds delightful. We have had a break in the extreme heat and haven enjoyed a week of 80s, but are looking at returning to the 90s next week. :( Ugh!

Christer, you have some really nice photos on your site. To put your Copyright notice (© 2009 Christer) on your photos, you can write an 'action' in Photoshop and then have it applied (batch process) to all images in a single folder. You may be able to do the same thing using GIMP (Graphic Image Manipulation Program), but I haven't used that app yet, so I can't say for sure. GIMP, unlike Photoshop, is FREE (www.gimp.org).

Wish I had a clue as to how to work around the problems you're having pasting from 'Word'. Have you tried creating your text in NotePad and pasting from there? Oh. There's a FREE version of a 'Word' program called 'OpenOffice' (http://www.openoffice.org/) - you might want to try that and see if it helps.

I am loving the pictures of the animals. What fun!

I'd love some cooler temps. Thank God the air conditioner was fixed yesterday. What a relief from these over 100 degree temps.

Christer,
That moon is beautiful.

It's fun seeing all your cats and dogs. My cats whack each other-I wish they'd have more fun together.

Hi Richard!
My photoshop dissapered one day, I think it was when the lightning went through my computor. But I´ll get it again when I buy a new computor this autumn.

Thanks for the tips on how to perhaps solve my problems with the text! I´ll try them as soon as possible!
Have a great 4th of July!
Christer.

Christer.

Hi Valerie!
It must have been a sight seing how I learned to swim :-) I wonder why she never went down herself, she was a great swimmer as I remember. Nowdays I don´t think she would swim at all.

That was a spectacular sunrise! I´ve never seen such an orange sky in the morning before.

I nowdays understand why airconditioning is so popular over at Yours :-)
Have a great 4th of July!
Christer.

Hi Kat!
It´s something special with the moon. I wish I could go there some time. Yes I know it´s cold and no air, but anyway :-) :-)

The cats are brothers and was nutered at the same time, I think that helps making them so fond of each other. The two dogbrothers has only fought once in their life and that was when I throw stick to them. For once Orvar was first and Hector didn´t like that at all :-)
Have a great 4th of July!
Christer.

I love the pictures of your animals. I know the Delphiniums are flowers you can buy here..but I haven't been able to find them. I am wondering if they are annuals or perinials. Do you know?
They are such a pretty blue!

Hi Mona!
Delphiniums are mostly perennials and are great as cutting flowers. They last for a very long time. If You want I can send You seeds in autumn from mine?
Have a great day now!
Christer.
