Yesterday morning we had -8,4C (18F) and today we had -7,0C (19F) and I don´t like it, not at all actully :-) But I´ve started to put my car in the garage, so at least I don´t have to scrape the windowa on my car. Now I only hope I catch some mice in my mouse traps :-)

Orvar got a stick and he loves chewing at sticks :-)

Old Erna looks a bit grumpy, but she´s anything but :-)

Hector took Orvars stick and now he´s happy :-)

We had nothing to paint today so I left early. It´s a wonderful day today. Almost no wind and the sun has been shining from early morning. Since the moose hunting season is over for this year in my neighbourhood, I and my dogs could take our walk in the forest again. After these cold nights the leafs on the trees now starts to fall down in bundles, so the sun reaches down to the ground again for the first time since last winter. Small birds were singing and deers could be heard jumping away on the bog.

The frost has stayed all day despite the sun shining all the time.

I woke up last night because it was a bit cold in my home (that´s why I have dogs, I just force them to sleep beside me then :-) :-) ), so now I´ve had a fire in the stove since I came home. Hopfully it wount be that cold comming night. I´m pretty sure it wount because they say that there will be rain and snow tomorrow. There will be up to 3-4 cm (around one inch) of snow, so I hope it´ll come after I finished work for the day because I haven´t changed to winter tires yet :-)
Have a great day now, I will!

In the puddles the water is frozen. Winter is on its way I feel.

Christer.

So that's why you have dogs? You should try those things called "wives". They work even better. And some of them are as big as Orvar. Well, nice pictures today. I had thought that Sweden would have set aside two days also for the surviving Moose to shoot back at the lonely Hunters. Not so? I mean I always thought of the Swedes as fair minded people. I'm 100% for the Moose. Have a good one!

hi christer.....it looks like winter is on the way for you. we are about to be hit with a nor' easterner which is a very bad storm that will bring snow and sleet. wouldn't you know it is hitting the day my kids have to drive for 12 hours to get home. my sons car would have been good in snow but i told him to drive ours instead. ours is a mercedes which is great for driving on long trips but not in bad weather. so i will have aday of worry when they drive back. it looks like your dogs are enjoying the weather! joyce

hi Christer!

now, that's the kind of weather that will really kill me! all my bones will crack and i can imagine the pain! lol

i love the pictures of orvar, erna and hector...they seem to be sooooooo warm! the trees are beautiful!

but, really, experiencing the four seasons is just so wonderful! i'm sure you get to have different experiences every time. there's no one season that's exactly the same as the previous one last year. i hope autumn and winter this year will be truly warm for you!

warm sunshine from here!...(but looks like another storm is coming...)

Hi Z&M!
Yes, living radiators :-) Really nice in cold nights :-) Cheaper than wifes too :-)

Unfortunally we are not that fair when it comes to moose hunting, but I think it´s a great idea :-) :-) :-)
Have a great day now!
Christer.

Hi NinaH!
Yes, snow! Not a little amount of it either!

But roses can be planted any time as long as one can make a hole in the ground. If ground is frozen just use some dynamite :-)

Yes, dogs are best at cold nights :-)
Have a great day now!
Christer.

Hi Joyce!
Today winter wisited us for at least a short time. A bit too early for my taste but probably when it should happen I guess.

North eastern isn´t a good thing here either. The cold winds from Sibiria gets through most things unfortunally. But I hope they take it easy and comes home without problems!
Have a great day now!
Christer.

Hi Weena!
I´m not a fan of this weather at all :-)

My dogs always thinks it´s too warm, no matter how cold it is :-) :-)

In a way I like to have four seasons, but I rather have it more like You have it, but without the typhoons :-)

Have a great day now!
Christer.
