Today is one of those days it doesn´t seeme to help having a fire in the stove. The heat sort of stays just around the stove itself. But then suddenly all heat reaches the upper floor and it feels like sleeping in the desert on a sunny day :-) :-)

There´s a little creek that devides the area where the moss lives and not. On the side I´m standing at the sun reaches a big part of the day, but the other side is protected by the pines and birches just behind.
Every morning this week has been rainy and foggy. Sometimes so foggy that I have had troubles seeing where the roads leads :-) It´s a bit worrying when it is that foggy during hunting season. All the animals, hunted or not are very stressed and runs around like crazy, very often over the roads early mornings. But nothing has happened so far anyway.

Some mosses looks like tiny, tiny ferns.

This grass shined like a torch in the middle of nowhere. It was impossible to miss it when everything around it had so much darker colors.

We saw two deers on our way home on our walk.
Since we really don´t celebrate Halloween ( Those who tries to celebrate this has problems with what date they should use. The church and a lot of people doesn´t want people to have it on All saints day, because it´s a christian holy day. So now Halloween can be celebrated late October to late November) we´ve started the countdown towards Christmas. It is two months and two days left to Christmas and the turning from darkness to light and spring. It´s the turning towards light and spring I most look forward to. I´ve already gotten tired of the darkness and then it hasn´t really started getting real dark yet :-)

I´m going to Falköping tomorrow so I´ll try to remember taking my camera with me, it´s always fun to show some other things than what I can find in the forests around here. Now it´s time for tea and more logs in the fire.
Have a great day now!

Hi Joyce!
Lets hope I remember the camera then :-)

It gets a bit too much of darkness over here at winter. For me the sun isn´t that important, but I do want some daylight when I´m comming home after work. Soon it´ll be dark not only when I drive to work, but when I drive home too.

But can You see the lettre Ö even if You can´t write it Yourself? I´ve always wondered about that.
Have a great day now!
Christer.

Hi Heidi!
Thanks for stopping by my blog!

I´m fortunate to have these surroundings to walk around in every day :-) But to be honest, much of Sweden outside the towns and cities looks much like this.

Have a great day and welcome back!
Christer.

Hi Woody!
I´ll put my camera so I can´t forget it at home! The reason to go to Falköping is just to buy firelogs and tea :-) I don´t want to be without this weekend :-)
Take care and have a great day now!

Dear Christer...I refused to allow one more day to pass without visiting you and catching up a bit.
It really is too bad you don't have a bit of fun with Halloween, because your part of the country would be so wonderful with all it's paths and dark walks in the woods! What fun...however I think where you live the homes are too far apart for trick or treating!
We don't do as much here as we used to...it has gotten a little dangerous of late. The children are not turned lose as they used to be when my children were young. The times have changed.
Still the Fall decorationg...and pumpkins etc. are so much fun...I love it.
I am struggling...but I think I am getting better though slowly. Age? LOL Probably. No matter...I'll make it. You'll see. How could I not with all of the love and encouragement sent to me. :)
Hugs..
Mona

Hi NinaH!
I think they drive out to their places just in case the weather gets better. But just the sound from the cars and people walking around in the forest stresses them by now.
Have a great day now!

Hi Mona!
So nice to see You here again!
Of course You´ll get through this, just take it easy and let it take the time it needs!

Yes, it is to far between houses here where I live, but the Halloween celebration isn´t popular even in the cities. But it might change, we do need something now when it gets darker. But we do have Saint Lucia in mid december.

Children can still run around over here without it being dangerous, at least in most neighbourhoods even in the cities.

Take care now and get better!
Christer.
