This little street is leading to the town square.

It´s one of those days when even the wild animals knock on Your door asking to come in :-) The wind makes the drizzle so cold and it´s that kind of drizzle that eats its way through the clothes one has on.

Sorry! I deleted this picture by misstake and now I can´t get it back again :-) :-)

Thay had a small market day today. This is flowers and decorations for graves now whan "All Saints Day" is comming.

We had nothing to do at work today, so I left a bit early to do what I had decidd to do. First I drove to Falköping to buy fire logs to use in my stove. For once I was a bit lucky because thet had them to a lower price than usual. So I filled my car with them. It´s fun how a car changes behaviour when it´s fully loaded. It was steady as a lokomotive in the wind and I think it was much the same break distance as a lokomotive has too :-)

The countryside starts directly where the town ends.

After that I went in to town and bought some tea. I can´t tell You the name because even if I can read what´s written, I don´t understand it :-) It is swedish though, because it has some Ö:s in it :-) They had a small market in the town square today, but most of what was sold was crap to be honest.

This kind of appartement buildings are quite common in Falköping.

I think there is four appartements in this building.

The Swedish Missionchurch in Falköping.
After that I drove to Gudhem and the grocery store there and realised that this was the day I was going to pick up the dog food I ordered. There were absolutly no space left after putting the dog food and my groceries in the car :-) I love my little Mazda, but itis very, very little :-) :-)

Mount Mösseberg from the opposite side from where I live.

There´s an antique store in this pink appartement building. But long ago I belive this was a one family villa.
But I came home alright and now we have taken our walk in the forest. There´s of course a fire in the stove and all animals are sleeping alla over the cottage. None of us wants to go out again as long as this weather is going on. So lets hope it´sbetter tomorrow :-)
Have a great day now, I will!

This i the weather we have had this week. Haze, drizzle and windy most of the time.

Thanks for sharing your trip to Falkoping it was quite enjoyable. How many fire logs were you able to load in your car? Do you have bio bricks there for burning?

Tjänare FuH!
Falköping är riktigt vackert, men en ganska så tråkig stad :-)
Ha det gott!

Hi Woody!
I´m glad You liked it. Falköping is a beautiful town, but rather boring to be honest :-)

I already ha some packages of firelogs that I had forgotten to bring out of my car, but it was ten pakages. I´m not sure how many logs are in each pakage though.

I´m not sure about the words bio bricks, but I think these are such bricks. They are made out of sawdust or something similar.
Have a great day now!

Visst är de vackra de gamla husen! Den dagen jag är för gammal för att bo här ute i skogen kan jag ju bara hoppas att jag kan få en lägenhet i något av de husen :-)
Ha det gott nu!

hi christer...thanks for sharing the pics of your trip. i love the patterned bricks in the market area. i see there are metal roofs in sweden. they are very popular in the south over here. i love the way the rain sounds when it hits them. that gray apartment building is gorgeous. i love the detail on it. we are having a rainy day too and the temps are beginning to fall. teddy is not feeling well again. this lyme disease is awful. she might have a few good days and then she gets sick again. i am still trying to catch up with things at home. that is the problem with traveling! joyce

Hi Joyce!
I was wondering what You meant with the patterned bricks :-) I´m so used to them that I don´t notice them any more. Most towns have them over here.

Metal roofs is mostly placed on bigger houses, but is more and more common on smaller houses nowdays too. I love that sound too :-)

The red building is as beautiful on the other side too, but I couldn´t take a picture of the front from my car.

I do hope that Teddy gets rid of the lyme disease soon! As You say, it´s an awful thing to get!
Have a great time now when You´re catching up with things!

I thought they were cobble stones, no? They give a look like our Williamsburg in Virginia. Lovely town feeling, thanks for sharing.

Christer,
I think pictures of stores and houses are my favorites. I get to see the wonderful colors of the houses and how different the architecture is. I always wonder how to pronounce the words in Swedish.

Thanks for a great ride!1

Hi Kat!
I especially likes to see the different architecture in different countries too and what the houses are made of. Here in Sweden old houses almost always are made by wood and I think new houses also are made of wood nowdays.

Perhaps I´ll have a swedish pronunciation blog one day :-)
Have a great day now!
Christer.
