Outside it´s a cold and nasty day. We´ve gotten winds from the arctic and they are eating their way through the clothes chilling our bones. But inside it´s warm and nice. Infact it´s so warm that I´ve had five butterflies flying around on the upper floor. They´ve understood that my cottage isn´t such a good place to spend winter at. Fortunally they weren´t to difficult to catch, so now they are all outside to find something better to spend winter by.

The swedish IDOL has started and as usual the quality is not too good. Most of the competitors are quite young and a voice span less than a octave it seemes. Remembering seeing the American Idol this summer our just make me sad watching :-)

But to be honest, one of our winners is actully starting a carrier in the US right now. Her name is Agnes and the song just about to get popular is called "Release me". She is actully one of the few Swedish Idol winners I like. Down below is the video with that popsong. I don´t know if this is the one that will be showed in the US. When the american people saw the swedish one they laughed and said, lets do a new one :-) :-)
The video below is of her latest hit over here and what is hopfully a hit in the US too.

It´s getting a bit too warm inside now, so no more firelogs in the stove, but I think I+ll make a new pot of tea, that is something one can´t get to much of :-)
Have a great day now!

Pictures of two butterflies I´ve rescued from a certain death today. I wonder how many are in here.

I'm not an Idol fan so can't comment other than I'm curious that the singer looks like she's sitting in someone's bathroom. Great place to sing a song, why not the shower? Oh well, I see the portal is starting to open, YA? I think I'll have some tea too.

Hi Z&M!
I´m not a Idol fan either, but I look when I have the time. Like this summer when they showed the American idol, it rained all the time over here then :-)

I was wondering the same as You, why is she sitting in a bathroom :-) :-) But like most of us perhaps she sings best there too :-) :-)

The Portal is slowly, slowly opening now. But it seemes leafs are sitting longer on our trees than over on Your continent, so it´ll take some time untill all leafs are gone.

Tea is never wrong! So have a nice cuppa now!

I am still watching your blog and it is still just great. I am sorry for not commenting enough but it seems you have many followers. Keep the tea coming and enjoy the weather and a pat to the dogs.

hi christer....i have not heard of that singer here yet. you are the butterfly saver!!! i am so tired from driving. it should only take 12 hours but with stops it takes so much longer. as old as my kids are i still have to drag them out of bed in the morning. then they want coffee and then they have to stop all the time to pee. it is actually quite funny. joyce ps....they had to stop more times than teddy!

Hi Joyce!
What I read she´s moving up on some of the Bilbords lists, so I think she´ll be more known later (if things goes likes she hopes).

Dogs are so much easier to bring on a trip :-)
Have a great day now!

Hej!

Christer.

I enjoyed listening to your Swedish Idol sing...I think she has a great voice...the video...well, I don't watch too much MTV/VH1 anymore so I can't really say, but it was a flashback to the 80s for me when I DID watch music videos...LOL!!!

Stay warm butterfly rescuer! Do you have monarchs in that part and/or Europe? I used to raise them from caterpillar with my 3rd graders and then tag and release thru the University of Kansas. They migrate from northern Canada and the midwest down to Mexico for the winter.

Hi Valerie!
She is good, but her voice is a bit weak sometimes. But I sure hopes that she´ll maket it over at Yours! But she does need new music writers and vidoe makers :-)

We do have the occatinal monarks over here (they migrate from southern Europe), but they are really rare. I saw one last year :-) But I think it probably is the most beautiful butterfly there is!
I can tell You that it is a bit too warm inside my little cottage right now :-)
Have a great day now!
Christer.
