My camera isn´t made for taking pictures at night, but the moon shine was so strong last night that I could take this picture :-)

Even though the morning sky was red yesterday we never got a real storm. There were wind and rain but not worse than usual. My neighbours house took most of the wind that were here, so it was real calm in my garden.

The frost has beaten the sunflower by the ruin. But it is still so beautiful.

This and the rest of the pictures is taken on my morning walk with my dogs.

This morning started out much the same as the day ended yesterday, cloudy windy and rainy. But the sun does a good job breaking through the clouds. It will be a nice day.

My neighbour told me that he had sold his horses this week. I knew that he was about to do it, but it feels kind of sad anyway. I´ve been talking to those horses every day since I moved here and I will miss it. I can understand him though, he has more spare parts in his body than any one else I know :-) It takes a lot of work to have horses and his body wount make it much longer. So I understand, but I will miss them.

Even if the sun will heat up my little cottage I´ve already started a fire in the stove. The wind now comes from another direction so I have no protection from my neighbours house any longer :-) Breakfast is done and my dogs are sleeping in my bed. Toedor and his brother is outside, but at the moment Teodor stays in the garden. Yesterdays drama seemes to have made him a bit more home sick :-)
Have a great day now

Glad the weather didn't turn out to be as bad as expected (according to old sailors...LOL).

That is sad about the horses; I know you're gonna miss them!

So sorry about the (Swedish) Detroit Red Wings (Ha ha)...I understand my St. Louis Blues swept the series and handed the Red Wings their first 2 losses of the season. Ha!!!

I really don't know about international play and if the teams play in other country locations very often. I haven't actually been to a Blues game in years; not since I left St. Louis to move to Kansas City. Kansas City only had a "farm" team (minor league), but those games were still fun to go to also! Love the fights! LOL I find hockey fun to watch b/c it is so fast moving! I still don't understand how those goalies can stop that tiny little puck from flying into the net...very quick reflexes, that's for sure!

Stay warm today and avoid those winds,
Valerie

Is that peat moss that lays like a carpet in the forrest? The pictures is fantastic, isn't it? Almost like watching a movie. I'd love to walk it. Top photo is not the moon Christer . . . it's a UFO. It past my house over here as well.

Hi Valerie!
Well I was hoping for the Blues, so I´m happy :-)

I´m a bit scared of horses, but these two I´ve taken care of a couple of times so it is a bit sad. But as I wrote, I can understand him.

I think it doesn´t matter on what level they are playing at, it can be good hockey anyway! As long as they really tries to win.

Strange wether here today. Sun, rain, wind and no wind changes quickley now :-) I was planning on making a feedingstation for the birds now, but I can do that later. As it is now I have different bird feeders all over the place and none is placed so I can see it properly. Probably best for the birds that way, but I really want too see them sometime during the winter :-)
Have a great day now!

Hi Z&M!
No it´s not peat moss. Peat moss grows mostly in shallow lakes and other weat areas. It is fantastic and so nice to walk on :-)

Was it a UFO! and I missed the chance to wave to them :-) :-)
Have a great day now!

So now you got UFO's they must be the ones planting all those mushrooms and funny grouths on the trees. Watch out if you start to see any funny looking pods growing out there in the bog.

Hi Woody!
Nice to see You here again!
I´ll keep my eyes open for those pods then :-) If I find any I run like mad :-)
Have a great day now!

Hi Joyce!
Yes it´s sad, but this is another neighbour. The one that will have cows lives on the other side :-) But those will just stay for the summer, since they are for meat. But I´ll be friend to them too :-)

I´m looking forward to read about that trip!
Have a great day now!
Christer.

Hej!

Christer.
