I have no idea what this lily is called, but it´s beautiful!

Sorry about yesterday. I got migraine all day and wasn´t in the best mood :-) I get it so seldom nowdays that I never have any migraine pills at home. It was worse when I was younger, I always had them with me wherever I went. I think it was the weather that brought it on. We reached 32,6C (90F) and to stand beside a hot owen all day really takes its toll.

The Bluebells has finally started to bloom. This one is called 'Bearded bell' in swedish. The "beard" is inside the bluebell.

This day started out much the same as yesterday, sun was shining, birds singing and noone at work had managed to sleep more than a couple of hours. But then the clouds came and with them the rain. It wasn´t much rain, but the temperature dropped down to pleasant 23C (73F). That is my temperature I can say. I´m going to sleep at my sofa at the bottom floor this night. Perhaps not as comfortable as my bed, but I´ll get some sleep. I still woun´t complain about tyhe heat, I´ll just get a rather nasty mood if it continues much longer :-) :-)

This is what happens to a Sword lily if it stands to dry. The flowers get small and deformed. This one is going in to my pond when that is finished.

I have to buy a new computor soon. This one is almost eight years old and has problems with all information that flows in via the internet. I never play games so I don´t need that kind of programspace in a computor. I mostly use it for mail and blogging. I also would like a laptop, they are still called that? One never knows, things happens so fast in the world now :-)

A filled 'Cinnamon rose'. The stems are cinnamon colored, so it has nothing to do with its scent. Grows wild here in Sweden.

This rose has grown in my garden since before I moved here. It has no scent so it´s probably from the sixties when roses first lost that.

More and more flowers are opening on the japanese climbingrose. Soon it´ll be almost totally white.

The flowers always comes in tens or twelves on the japanese.

But that woun´t happen until this autumn. I need some other things first like a refridgerator and a washingmashine first :-)
Have a great day now!

oooooo...you would love a laptop. i was so resistant when my kids kept insisting that i get one. then i got one and i never even touch the other computer. i walk around the house with my laptop. i watch tv while i work on it on my lap. i take it in the kitchen when i am cooking. i sit on the porch with it. it becomes a bit addictive. sometimes i even take it to bed!!!!

Hi joyce!
I´m afraid of that it might be addictive :-) But I´ll take the chance :-)
Have a great day now!

Christer,
We have similar lily here which we call a day lily. It finds the sun all day then closes up at night.

I was thinking the same as what Kat wrote. Sorry to read about your migraines. My wife is plagued with them and now has a new prescription which fends it off when she feels one coming on. The flower pictures are beautiful today as always. What a wonderful place to live. Thanks.

I am looking forward to seeing all the white roses in bloom! It's going to be gorgeous! I smiled at your comment on my lawn swing. How nice if you had one out by your pond one day. Such a wonderful place for a nap..and remember..if there is a mosquito problem ..a bit of mesh that could be dropped would work. You have never mentioned that many so probably no problem at all. My swing is under my patio cover so I can get by with the lace..like lace curtains...
How is your pond coming? I was sorry to hear of your headaches. I have had very few in my life time so the tiniest one is HUGE to me! :)
Take care Christer...

Hi Kat!
I know for certain that it doesn´t have that name over here. Daylily is a different one for us, every flower only flowers for one day on that. I think I can show pictures of that later in July.

Hi Z&M!
Nowdays I get those attacks so seldom so they are no big problems any more. But I use a pill, called Immigran here, that is perfect. The only thing that is sort of bad with them is that they give the symptomes for a heart attack :-) :-) First time I used them I thought I was about to die :-) :-)

Yes, it´s rather nice here :-)

Hi Mona!
I love those lawn swings :-) and as You say, the best place to take a nap on :-) Mosquitos are mostly a trouble late at night here (if they don´t get in to my home, them they always are a problem :-) ), but it´s a good idea to have a mesh to get down around it.

It has been to hot to do anything with the pond lately, but I was thinking of starting early tomorrow since it´s my weekend then and early so that the heat hasen´t started.

My migrains comes so seldom nowdays so they aren´t any big problem any longer. But it´s no fun when they do.

I always enjoy your flowers it seems you have so many here we dont plant any but a few in flower boxes on the deck. But all the rain we have had has hastened th wild flowers in the fields and they are nice to see.

Hi Nina!
Thankfully it was a rather mild attack this time. At worst I just lay on the floor in the shower throwing up all the time. This time I was only nasty towarrds the world :-) :-)

The rain passes our village most of the time, but the temperature drops anyway :-)

Hi Woody!
I do have some flowers :-) But they always are more beautiful in the wild, one can never get it as beautiful in ones garden how much one tries.

Here it´s so dry that trees now looks miserable, but it´ll turn soon. Just when my vacation starts cooler and raynier weather will come. Just as usual :-) :-)
