It´s easy to get up in the morning when the sky is clear blue and the sun shines :-)

I´m a bit behind with things here at home, so I´ll take some time of from my blog and returns on Friday again. Now we have summer here again and it´s wonderful to stay outside as long as possible at night. But tomorrov “Midsummer murders” starts on tv again, so then I don´t care what weather it is :-)

I wonder if Teodor thinks this is a hughe toilette :-)

Today I dug some more in the pond. I´ll smoth the edges and dig the deep hole wider and then I think I´m finished digging. I did something wrong when digging and I think my back will be sour tomorrow morning :-)

Now there´s water in the ditches again. I could hear the mosquitos cheering :-)

But now I´ll read some blogs and then make a pot of tea and sit on my kitchen stairs for a while.
Have a great day now and see You on Friday!

I wish I knew more about birds and their eggs so I could have written that it was a Cuckoo bird egg or something :-)

Hi Valerie!
Before I understood that Midsummer was a whole county and not only one village :-) :-) By the time they had done four movies the whole village would have been dead :-) :-) :-)
I promise to enjoy my break!
have a great day now!

Trodde först att theodor var en elefant du hadde grävit upp när jag såg bilden. Du får passa på ryggen, vila den framför morden i midsommer :-)

You can't fool me Christer. I see now that Teodor is doing all the work. You must be a real slacker to let the kitty dig that pond. I bet you're sitting back sucking down a beer and taking pictures while the poor cat is digging away. What a funny picture!

I think I have watched that stuff before. Is it british? I love murder mysteries and if I remember correctly that is one of my favs...

I have no idea what type of egg it is either. I think I found someone else who had some hatch in sweden too that look like yours. http://www.gardenstew.com/about14841.html maybe that will help answer your question.

Enjoy your mystery and your break...

Hi Nina!
I know it´s hard to belive that I too have limits to my knowledge, but I´m afraid that´s the facte here :-) :-)But I have a suggestion from Bean Blogger that it might be a robins egg and I know we have robins here. Have to check that.
Have a great day now!

Hi Woody!
Yes I have robins here, so I´ll check that on the net. Thanks for the tip!

I have more or less finished digging today, only small adjustments left to do until the protective carpet and rubber carpet is on place. I only have to see that it has the same hight all around so the water wount dissapere somewhere around the edges.

Have a great day now!
Christer.

Hi Chelle!
Yes it´s brittish and we love it here in Sweden. It´s one of the most popular programs over here and people collect every film on dvd.

I´ll check that webbsite to see if it´s the same bird here, thanks for the tip!
Have a great day now!
Christer.

It's neat to see the progress. I had to laugh at Teodor..but of course he thinks it is all for him. Cats are like that. :) And the mosquito's cheering...LOL now THAT was funny! :)
Aha..so you have a favorite TV show...:) Me too!
It's getting warmer and warmer here but so far no real heat...but it's coming...and I dread it.

Hi Mona!
It´s so warm here now that even the deep hole in the ditch almost has dried out. It only took two days of heat and strong winds to wipe out all rain that had come these last days. So the mosquitos cheered in vain I´m afraid :-)
Have a great day now!
Christer.
