This is what I meet every morning when driving to work :-) Lots and lots of geese. It´s just outside the village and I had to take the picture while driving so it´s abit blurry.

Sometime in the 1940:s a young woman, that worked in a group of scientists, discovered how to make a soft ice cream. They simply mixed a lot of air in the ice cream just before they would freeze it and it stayed rather soft when frozen. The best thing she and her work mates thought, was that they only had to use half the ingredients to make the same amount of ice cream when doing so. This young womans name was Margret Thatcher. Do You recognise it? Yes, it is the former prime minister of Great Brittain. So when You buy a pakage of soft ice cream You mostly buy a lot of air and thats her fault :-) :-)

This is one of my favourites in spring, the White buttercup (Daggranunkel in swedish).

I think that my camera died today. I was trying to get a picture of a flower when suddenly my camera just stopped. At first I thought it was the battery that was empty, but it doesn´t help to charge it. It´s cheaper to buy a new one than to try to repair this one, so on Thursday I will go toe the little town Skara to find another one. Sad really, because I liked this one a lot and I think I finally figured out how to use it properly :-)

This flower is a big misstake to get into a garden. I did that once almost nine years ago. Even if I dig out as many as I can, there is always more the year after :-) But it is beautiful so I can live with it :-)

I can´t find my socks anywere! I know I have a lot of sock and clean ones too :-) But I can´t find them. I know I dried tham outside and then took them inside my cottage, but my mind is totally blank after that. I´ve wondered around in my home but there is no trace after them. I can´t for my life belive that a thief would break in to my home, just to take only my old socks :-) :-) Have to buy socks on Thursday too I think.

The old tree is fallen and dead since long, but now new plants are starting to grow on it.

Well soon it´s a garden program on tv, so I will finish the pakage with mostly air in it with a cup of tea I think.
Have a great evening now, I will!

The last picture (I think) with my camera. Thought You should see it :-) :-) :-)

That last picture will do it for my week. I was depressed till I saw that shot. Also worried about those missing socks. Have you followed the cats around the house? Bet they know where your socks are, I'm sure of it. Grab one of em by the tail and . . . well, may be not. Funny post today Christer. You should have joined us for the launch of Atlantis at lunch today. Sadly we were looking into the sun. So the garlic toasted ham and cheese sandwiches were the hit. Successful launches here mean bake beans for dinner tonight. Bye, bye!

Hi Z&M!
I thought that You would like that picture :-)

Not a bad idea to follow the cats :-) But have they taken them all or have they gotten help from bigger black haird friends?

I wish I could have been there when Atlantis launched! That is one of the things I really wants to do in life.
Baked beans is never wtong for dinner :-)
have a great day now!
Christer.

I have seen other tree's that have been cut or died and things begin to grow from them. Probably the rotten wood..etc. I think they are interesting to look at.
Can't you get another Camera just like the one that quit on you?? Mine did that once..but it WAS the battery.
Thanks for your visit..glad you like my "city" home. Wanna trade places? hmmm...I don't think T would mind...do you? :)

Hej NinaH!

Christer.

Hi Mona!
The picture is of me in my red shirt that has the name of my gardencenter written on it, but I´m not sure if it´s my head or hand that can be seen too :-) :-)

I think it probably is the battery that has said good bye and they caost almost as much as a new camera, so I´ll try to find a new camera instead. I´m not sure that I can find an identical to the one that I have, but I can at least get the same brand.

I too think that it´s the decaying tree that gives the new plants what they need to grow. Nature gives and nature takes :-)

My sock? Have no idea where they are :-) :-) :-)
Have a great day now!
Christer.

Hi Balisha!
Yes, the little flower is really pretty and that is the danger with it :-) :-) One relly wants it in the garden and it flowers all summer too until late autumn. But it spreads really fast and even in my sandy soil they are difficult to get rid of. But it´s sure pretty.
Have a great day now!
