I got a bit surprised when I came to work today, everything was as it should be :-) The things they said that I should paint were actully there :-) I´m painting hughe ventilation pipes to Volvo and they are screwed on pallets. Some of the pipes are really heavy and some of the pallets are in bad shape and it´s not good if they combien those two. They had done that this time. I´m driving slowly with my forclift when suddenly the big pipe falls of the pallet. It took me an hour to get it back and screwed on again. It sounded like a big church bell when it fell to the ground and Hector hasn´t forgiven me yet :-)
It´s summer outside today. The ever lasting wind is warm too and it´s to strong for the flies so they hide in the bushes, that´s at least one good thing with the wind :-) Yesterday I decided that it was time to get all plants out from my cold basement where they are during winter. They looked a bit gloomy even if I have extra powerful light down there, so I got my cutting scissors. Not much left of them now, but they´ll be great in a week or two if the nights woun´t be to cold.
Lewisia cotyledon. This one can take our cold waether over here, but it can´t take cold weather and rain. So if not protected it will root during winter. The first flower opened today :-)
My good frien Woody made a slideshow with my pictures and added great music to them this winter. If You want to see it just click on Good old Beans and there it is. I think he did a great job!
Have a great day now!
P.S. If You want I can show You an x-ray picture of how my right hip looks after the operation. D.S.

Hi joyce!
He really did a good job with my pictures!
We don´t have Memotial day over here, so for us it´s work as usual.
Wish I could come over and taste those ribs :-)
Have a great day!
One day I would like to try growing some Iris. They are such a lovely flower. I planted some daffodils this year...I hope they make it. I am praying everything gets established before the real heat hits us and cooks everything.
Riverside is really dessert. Over the hill and there it is...burning hot sand. Palm Springs, California!
It's gloomy here and sort of cool this morning.
The picture you took of the Iris shows tiny growth coming up...So beautiful! You should do a video of your flowers yourself and post it permanently on your side bar..add when you want..I have seen it done on Little Red House. Can't you do that? How wonderful that would be!
Mona
Riverside and Palmspring doesn´t sond as hot and sandy :-)
Irisis are the easiest of plants! You should ask for Iris germanica hybrids. They love when it´s hot, dry and sunny!
I have to look at Little Red house to see what You mean. I´m not promising anything, but lets see if I can do it.
Have a great day!
Christer.
Vacker liten Iris! Men Tove var en riktig skönhet.... kan man få tigga lite frön???
Hoppas du hart himla gôtt
Nina
And Ka Plunk went the pipe. Bet it did sound like a church bell. I like the Bean video but to me the music did not match well. Don't tell Old Bean that, it's not calming countryside music and the photos are. But those people in Maine know how to live don't they? Lovely pictures again Christer and not sure I want to see a hip replacement x-ray. My time will come as they say. Great blog today, thanks.
all this blogging is wonderful. too bad we can't do virtual food! i could feed the world! watching hockey here and feeling very nervous!
Christer.
Hi Z&M!
It´s just the breake between the music and the pictures that makes it greate I think. To see these wintery pictures to a southern dessertlike music does that it woun´t feel icy cold inside when seeing them.
I thought no one would like to se that picture :-) :-) People usually get a worried face if they have the chance to see them :-) :-)
Have a greate day now!
Christer.
Hi joyce!
Just wait! It´s just a matter of time until they make that come true too :-) :-)
Have a great day now!
Christer.
