They said sun all day, so naturally the clouds came early this morning :-)

It was -5C (23F) outside this morning when I woke up. But on the other hand the sun shined so it was quite enjoyble to take the morning walk after all. The weather forcast said sunny all day, so I wasn´t surprised when the clouds came :-) It has still not reached 10C (50F) so now there´s a fire in the stove so it at least gets warm inside.

The Portal is slowly closing in the top now.

The second semi final in the Eurovision song contest were yesterday evening and now we have all nordic countries in the final on Saturday. When the eastern european countries joined the competition we in the west smiled kindly and thought that they wouldn´t stand a chance. We don´t smile kindly any more :-) They usually wipe the floor with us from the west :-) At first we blamed it on neighbour voting. They ofcourse votes for their neighbours, something we would never do :-) :-) To be honest, we vote more for our neighbours and has always done, than they do. The truth is that we also votes for these eastern european songs :-) :-) We love them :-)

Orvar and Bertil is never far away from each other.

But this year Norway is the big favourite, but it´s close with several other countries. Ukraine, Armenia, Azerbadjan, Turkey, Greece, Boznia-herzegovnia and Sweden is also belived to come high in the end results. We can´t vote for our own songs, but from the rest of them Norway, Ukrain, Azerbadjan and Armenia is my favourites. But I guess the top four will be Norway as number one, Ukraine as two, Armenia as the third and Azerbadjan will come as fourth. We´ll know on Sunday if I´m right. I´m not able to stay up during the voting because I´ll work on Sunday. But I´ll let You know the results in here in my blog.

It seemes like a lot of the migrating birds didn´t realise that we had summer here over one month early, so there are still new birds comming every day. This is usually the time of year most of them comes. Yesterday I saw at least twenty geese comming from the south and there were some this morning too. Most plants in our gardens have started to grow really fast now, so when it comes nights like this, with cold weather, they freeze severly. Even though we had enormously many cherry flowers I´m afraid that there wount be many cherries because of the frost we´ve had now. I´m afraid that my nectairine also wount get any fruits because of that. But now I at least knows that it flowers :-)

Three geese on their way north.

It´s time for yet another log on the fire and after that a little nap I think.
Have a great day now!

That fifth picture, lying in the road there, I think I found your socks! Check it out. The pictures are crisp, very nice, YAY New Camera! And I am waiting like you are to see who wins the singing contest. Sorry about your cherry tree freezing. I love cherries and buy a bucket of cherry ice cream once a week here. Find those socks Christer, before you have to go back to work.

Hi Z&M!
It might be some part of a sock anyway :-) All the socks missing are black :-) But I actully found a fourth sock this morning behind a sofa :-)

For some resaon I don´t understand, cherry ice cream isn´t popular over here. I love it but it´s more or less impossible to get.

I´m starting to like my new camera very much now. We still doesn´t agree all the time, but we´re going there :-)

Let us cross our fingers and hold our thumbs for the swedish song on saturday!
have a great day now!
Christer.

I thought I found your socks in that picture of Bertil and Ovar but I see Z&M beat me to it. Finding one behind a couch suggest the culprit may be a cat burglar. Have a good weekend.

Jag ba' älskar Orvar och Bertil! Vilka snyggingar!

Hej Anja!
Visst saknar man sina gamla vänner. Det händer titt som tätt att jag ropar efter gamla Sickan, hon är borta sedan fem år nu :-)

Ja Cairnterriers tror alltid att de är jättehundar :-) Härlig ras!
Ha en riktigt trevlig kväll nu!
Christer.

Nice pictures, Christer. Good morning. You really like my house number? :) Well, I think perhaps you are just being kind! :) No matter because I'm glad you like it. She did do a nice job. Apparently the butterfly I though was just for me ...is her trademark! So..everybody gets one! :( And here I thought I was SO special! :)
I had to laugh at another comment on here...she says she has spied your socks! :)
I hope your day was nice. I am off to a Home Show today. We will be touring the insides of homes. I am so happy about that!
I do hope it is better than the Garden show and more than just one home is show worthy!
Take care..
Mona

Hi Mona!
The house number sign fits Your house perfect. On my house it would look a bit strange though, since it is made of wood :-)

I does look like a rolled sock :-) But I wonder what it really is. Have to check that out tomorrow.

So You mean that people shows the inside of their homes for other people?! I hardly let any one in my home, so that´s nothing for me :-) :-)
Have a great day now!
Christer.

Hi Joyce!
Thanks!
Here it´s getting a bit warmer now, but the wind drives me mad at the moment. It´s time for me to buy all stuff needed to build my little wall greenhouse now. But it would still be to early to take out my tomatoes to it anyway. Had to scrape my car windows this morning too.
Have a great day now!
Christer.
