I woke up rather early and got to see this sunrise.

It´s quite nice outside even though the clouds hang low and the temperature could be higher. But the ever lasting wind is at least fairly warm. They had promised thunderstorms all night and all day yesterday, but we didn´t get it until late aftersnoon. It wasn´t much of a thunderstoorm to be honest, but I didn´t dare go out on the internet until rather late last night.

The light becomes rather strange when there is fog in the morning. But it is very beautiful I think.

I have had problems keeping up with everything this last week. I´ve been late posting my blog, late reading others, so I only managed to read a few before I had to go to bed. It has been one of those weeks when it had been better sleeping it through :-) But it´s not only I that has been like that, every one at work has been just like me. No one can say that he has been sick in any way, but every one has been tired and has had trouble getting things done. Perhaps it´s the weather change? We had summer temperatures all April and that is unusual in it self and now it has been rather cold and cloudy. That can make any one tired I think.

The 'Portal' is almost closed in the top now.

The lily of the valley has started too bloom now.
My car problems might have gotten a solution. I have a friend that is going to sell his little Mazda 323. It´s very well kept and looks newer than it probably is. He wants a bit more that I wanted to spend on a car. But on the other hand I´m getting a lot more payed now when I´m working on Saturdays and Sundays, so I think that evens it out rather well. It doesn´t use a lot of petrol either and now since the price went up to over six US dollars/US gallons that is a very good thing :-)

At least one of my Bleeding hearts survived the two hard frostnights we had a week ago.

It looks like the sun is shining through the clouds, so I think I´ll get a cup of tea and go out to the kitchen stairs for a while.
Have a great day now!

The Lilac tree has also started to bloom now. Last year i cut down my 45 meters (148 feet) long lilac hedge so it wount bloom this year. But there is still so much lilacs here that the smell will fill my garden and home. It´s beautiful, but personally I think it´s a terrible weed and I wouldn´t be sorry if they all just died.

Morning (or good night!)Christer,

Sorry to hear that you have been "under the weather" as we Americans say! Hope that sun and warmer temps arrive to liven up everyone's spirits.

I love the 3rd photo from the top (the green pasture after the 2 sunrises). So serene! I'm sure the lilacs smell lovely.

Take care,
Valerie

Hi Valerie!
It´s strange when every one is under the weather at the same time. We are wondering if we perhaps got the swine flu, most people don´t suffer especially much from it they say. The sun comes and goes and now it´s quite warm outside. The rest of the weekend (for me thats until tomorrow night, I work on saturday) I´woun´t do anything else that just take it easy.

The lilacs do smell fantastic, but when they start to vilter they smell rather disgusting. At least when oine has as much of them as I do. But then I have to remember how good they smelled before :-) :-)
Have a great day now!
Christer.

Hi Woody!
You´re probably right, after this weekend we will probably all be much better.

It´s really beautiful and smells fantastic when they all flowers, but the stench when it all is over is terrible. But I still have a lot of them even if I cut down yhe hedge.
Have a great day now!

Beautiful photos as usual Christer. Sorry to hear you were under the weather. Maybe it is the changing seasons. Hope you bounce back soon!
Lizzie & Eli enjoyed your letter!

Ja du åskoväder är inte trevligt så jag förstår du drog ur strömmen och att vara orkeslös är inte trevligt det heller. Hoppas du får tillbaka lite ork snart och att vädret lättar.

Hi Barb!
I hope it will lighten up till next week. All of us in the factory feels the same, so it is possible the season change.

Glad Lizzie and Eli liked my lettres. I got a lettre from them a day ago :-)
Have a great day now!
Christer.

Hej Maria!

Christer.

I love the photos today Christer. Really offers a calming effect and yes, the portal is almost closed which makes it look rather mysterious. Sorry to read you all need a pick me up over there. What happened to the vodka and tea idea? I think I got the problem solved with "sitemeter" an email to my blog said they put up a counter with a bad tag line. Hopefully it's fixed now. Post a picture of the new car when you get a chance. Mazdas over here are small cars. Have a good one!

Hi Z&M!
The Vodka and tea idea would create a little problem at work I think. We would ned so much that everyone in the factory would be rather drunk while working :-) :-) We would be much happier, but nothing would be done :-) :-):-)

Volvo is a big car over here and I know that it is concidered a samll car over at Yours :-) So I can imagine how small You think it is :-) :-)
I´m going to Your blog now to check if it´s ok!
Have a great day now!
Christer.

I would never have thought of a lilac hedge as a weed! The blooms are really lovely...so..why is it a weed? Is it invasive like our Morning Glory is over here?
I could not believe the price you are paying for gas! That is a sin! We need to get together and find an alternative fuel, don't you think? Wow!
It sounds like you might have found a wonderful deal on a car. Good for you, Christer!! I am afraid we are going to have hot summer in California and we had so little rain...I think we might have a rough time of it!

Hi Mona!
Yes the lilacs are very invasive and shoots can grew up several yards from the actual hedge. Miss one of those shots and You have a new little tree rather fast :-) All species of lilacs does so, but there are some that is less invasive. But usually they don´t smell as strong and nice as the common Lilac.

Yes, our gasprices are a sin I think. There are a couple of other fuels on the market, but they cost as much as gas over here. They have com up with some new batteries that can be charged fast over here, so I´m hoping for that.

I hope that I can get that Mazda. It would be perfect for me and it is very well kept. So as long as he hasn´t alredy sold it it´s going to be mine.

We are not sure what kind of summer we´re going to get over here. Usualy they have a lot of long time forcasts in the newspaper, but I haven´t seen one yet. I do hope that Your summer isn´t to hot. I don´t want to read about fires over at Yours!
Have a great day now!
