New cloud types has been found. I read this in National Geografics newslettres I get every week in the e-mail (Thanks GeeGee!). The ones they showed were a bit more spectacular but reminds of this cloud a lot. It looks as if someone has whipped the cloud with a whisk. New clouds doesn´t just appere without reason, I wonder what this means.

I´ve heard thunder nerby when I was mowing the lawn a moment ago. After the first sound of it I could hear my neighbour running down his stairs to his livingroom, to pull out the computor and telephone cables. He has already lost two computors to the lightning.

It´s been a lovely day comapred to those before. A lot of small clouds but a lot of sunshine in between. It came some drops of rain too now and again, but I don´t think it was much enough to even be called a drizzle.

Denmark won yesterday and it was screw ups from our players that gave them permission to win. But it was a great match and Denmark is now almost sure to go to the world cup in South Africa. We still have a chanse but it´s really slim. But as I told You yesterday, we can always cheer for the danes instead :-)

One of Teodors favourite places.

I´m going down to Gothenburg on Sunday two weeks and I thought I should drive to where I grew up and take some pictures if I get a chanse. Then You´ll get to see how it looked in old Gothenburg but with better kept houses. When I grew up there many of those living there didn´t have a toilette in the appartement, it stood outside and had no water.
Have a great day now!

I´ve shown You the ditch before, the one they have dug to deep so the water stays there. I´m wondering about making a pond here in my garden, not a big one but something like this ditch in size and perhaps with similar background. But with grass that doesn´t spread as much as our wild ones and with a little bush and perhaps some irises in it. What do You think about that?

Sounds like a fine idea and it would cut down on some of the mowing. How long a drive is it to your hometown? You'll get a chance to test out the new piglet on major highways. We've had rain every day for 10 days here and it sometimes comes with penny hail. I just got on the computer after a major storm swept through with lots of lightening and thunder. We need the rain but this time it seems like that's all we are getting. Have a great day Christer.

Hi Z&M!
I think I´ll do that little pond after next pay check. It woun´t cost much either.

It´s about 160km (almost 100 miles) to my home town and the roads there are good all the way. It´s another thing in Gothenburg though, there the roads can be worse that out here on the country side.

It´s never good to have to much of a good thing :-) Wee too need the rain here, but it seems that most of the rain here falls over the mountine near by. I was hoping to catch the lightning on a picture, but I have only heard them so far.
Have a greate day now!
Christer.

Hi Woody!
I´ve decided me to make the pond after next paycheck. Now I only have to find someone who sells the rubber sheet to keep the water in. I really hope that dragonflies will lay eggs in the pond!

Your welcome :-)
Have a great day now!
Christer.

Hej Christer!
Låter som en lysande idé - vatten i trädgårdar är så fint - jag har bara en pyttedamm, men önskar så att jag hade gjort den större.

Hi joyce!
I was thinking of having a small japanese fish in the pomd. To small to eat frog younglings but big enough to eat mosquitoe larves. If the winter doesn´t get to cold they will survive outside.

The area I grew up in is very beautiful and was so even when I grew up. Then it was a part of town there poor people lived, today it´s the opposite.

To bad You lost! But You´ll get a new chanse on tuseday. Sweden is going to meet Malta next week to I belive. So we just have to hold our thumbs (or cross our fingesr like You do)!
Have a greate day now!
Christer.

Christer..a pond would be wonderful! I have always wanted one..but always had babies..and now that I don't have little ones around..I would really like one but have settled for my old wine barrel and a little old pump. Works for me..but a beautiful pond...now lovely...
Would mosquito's breed there and is there anyway you could keep that from happening? I think running water might help...what do you think. My daughter has one..which I will post for you to see...you might enjoy that..
Mona
P.S. I LOVE clouds and used to take pictures of them all the time. Lately we have very little to photograph...just the solid gray marine layer. Love the song as well...Clouds.

Hi Mona!
I´ve been looking after a place that sells the rubber carpet I need to make the pond and I´ve found a couple that sells via mail. It wount cost much since I only intend to make a small pond.

You showed Your barrel and I think it´s great! It doesn´t have to be anything big, just a small mirror of water surface is enough.

I was thinking of having either a small japanese fish, that we usually have in aquariums over here. It can take really cold weather. Or I might go out and catch some of the really small fishes we have in our waters. They´ll eat most of the mosquit´s.

The problem with running water is that we have something similar to the american black fly here and they lay their eggs in running water and to be honest, I prefere mosquito´s then :-) :-)
Have a great day now!
Christer.
