It was a fantastic spring day yesterday and it looks as if we´re going to get much the same weather today. Now the coughing has started so my throat is anything but nice this morning. I have to rely on tea making the throat feeling better since I´m all out of ice cream :-)

The morning walk was quite wonderful. Sun shining, no wind and the sound from 14000 cranes laying like a sound carpet in the air. I do live a couple of kilometers (a couple of miles) away from the lake, so the sound isn´t disturbing in any way, but one can´t get away from it either unless ones goes inside :-)

All trees and bushes are gone now. The feeling of being in "The wind in the willows" one had before is completly gone now.

But there´s still a bit of that feeling when following the creek into the forest though.
My dogs loves to be here warm summer days, unfortunally so does ticks. So I tend to stay away from here then.

Yesterday I finally got all the way down to the creek again. I walked the other way and to my surprise the ground or road weren´t muddy at all. Well they have cleaned away all small bushes and trees away from the edges of the creek, so now the water goes in to it as it should but it does look a bity sad there now. It looks like it did when I moved here ten years ago, so now it´ll take ten more years until the feeling of “The wind in the willows” comes back again.

Now it´s time to make more tea and then I think I´ll take a nap. I do hope this is the end of this cold, I´m getting a bit tired of it now :-)

Have a great day now!

Christer.

It looks like you could walk along that creek forever. It is sooo inviting. I would do that if I were there. Walk about 5 miles along the creek and back again. Really good photos this morning Christer. Thanks.

Hi Z&M!
It is very nice to walk along the creek, at least here. Later on the path leaves the creek and then it gets much harder to follow I´m afraid.

It was a while since I could walk there so I thought You all would like photo´s from there :-)
Take care now!
Christer.

Hi Splendid!
Happy Easter to You too!
It has been a rather nice day with sun and warm weather. Perhaps a bit to windy, but in the forest it´s all quiet and calm :-)
Lots of tea it will be :-)
Have a great day now!
Christer.

Happy Easter Christer!

It's hazy sunshine here this morning but not cold. A lovely Easter day.

I got my camera out and took some photos yesterday and the day before. Nothing so spectacular as yours, just flowers, my dog and a new pair of yellow sneakers artfully lit by the sunlight. Hey, it's a start.

Hope your cold goes away quickly.

Hi Caryn!
Clouds has arrived here now and the wind has been terrible all day, but it´s warm and when one finds places the wind doesn´t reach it´s soo nice :-)

Never disparage your photos, they are most probably exellent! But it is easy to find something wrong with ones own photo´s. I can find bad things in all my photographs :-)

Have a happy easter!
Christer.

I missed blogging except late Easter Sunday and then just for the note on the quakes...
I hope you had a good Easter Sunday!

Hi Mona!
I´m glad that it didn´t happen that much when this quake came! The earths crust seemes to be a bit stressed around the paciffic ocean right now. I do hope it settles down soon!
Take care now!
Christer.
