Today I payed my last bill from my old buisness, my gardencenter. It was the bill to my accountant. She have been waiting to send it until she knew I could pay it and when she heard that I was going in to surgery she wanted to wait some more. But since I have put aside the money for this and since I think she´s worth every cent of it I just payed it on the internet bank. It feels quite good :-)

I have been having troubles getting out on the internet these last weeks. I have had to try at least four times every time and I couldn´t understand why the computor behaved like that. But Windows gave me the explanation. I´ve had Google toolbar for a long time, but a year ago it suddenly dissapered. I didn´t bother to put it back again until a couple of weeks ago. That was when the troubles started. So now it´s gone again and hopefully my troubles too.

Since I´m not going to be able to drive and carry heavy things for a month I´ve now started to buy lots of Fire logs for my stove. I´m counting on that warmer weather will come in March, so I´ve calculated that I will use one ten kilo pakage ( around 20 pound) a day. So I´ll have to have atleast thirty pakages and I have to have them in my kitchen :-)

Tonight (Swedish time around 3am) the Olympic wintergames will start. It would have been fun to see the opening ceremony, but I know that I´ll faal a slepp on the couch if I try too :-) I do get up early in the morning even on weekends, but not that early :-)

Have a great day now!

The "hang over" :-) is even bigger now, but still hangs on to the roof.

Is that a downspout? Man, that is a huge downspout. You must really get the rain and snow for sure. Looks like something one would see on a commercial building. Love the photos today Christer. I hope your Mom is physically able to keep that fire going with all those logs you are buying. Maybe better check with her first. I don't think she will get any help from the dogs. They look great in the snow photos today. I love that feeling when I pay off a debt. Love it even more when I send in the last car payment. Then, for sure, it's Miller's Time!

Hi Z&M!
Yes it is. I´ve never seen such a big one before. I´m surprised it still hangs there, but it´s probably icy inside and that holds it together.

My Mother is as used as I am to keep the fire burning :-) They too has a fire heated stove in the kitchen :-)

Yes it is a great feeling to pay that last bill :-)
Have a great day now!
Christer.

Christer.

hi christer...my son has a similar "hangover" on his house. we are in skaneateles. it was a good trip until i got a speeding ticket. i have a lead foot and they caught me driving 73 in a 55 mile per hour zone. damn! oh well, i haven't had a ticket in years. here i am in the "snow belt" of upstate new york and they have a fraction of the snow we have at home. crazy weather this winter. i can't wait for the olympics. it is so sad about the georgian luger. joyce

Hi Joyce!
Isn´t it strange that they can hang there? I mean it´s so big and should break.

I´ve been lucky so far that I´ve never gotten a speed ticket but nowdays they have changed the speed limits on almost all roads so it´s just a matter of time until I get one. I hope it wasn´t to costsam, over here one wants to cry when having to pay :-) :-)

Yes, it was a terrible accident! I saw it on tv. But he couldn´t have felt a thing the poor man. How can they have those pillars without protection in front of them?

Have a great time in Skaneateles!
Christer.

Christer,
How beautiful that red house picture is.

I remember when I made my last mortgage payment. I wanted to shout from the tree tops. There is no better feeling than to have that load lifted.

I watched the opening ceremony as it is in real time here. I thought it was wonderful.

Stay warm.

Hi Kat!
I thought so too about that photo. It´s my closest neighbours cottage and it´s a bit higher placed than mine.

Yes it´s a wonderful feeling to pay that last bill. But I will continue to pay on my house until I´m around 80 years old :-) I´m in no hurry and the price was so low that I never think of that mortage :-)

It was a bit embarrising that the forth pillar didn´t lift so the fourth person could lit the fire too :-)
Have a great day now!
Christer.

It sounds like both the dogs and the moose have respect for one another!:) No chasing on either part.

Hi Mona!
I think we all just got very surprised :-) The only thing my dogs like to chase are squirrels and the occational cat :-)
Have a great day now!
Christer.
