We were supposed to have strong winds here today, at least gale perhaps worse. But it must have missed us totally. We have had almost no wind at all, but it would be a lie to say that it has been a great weather even if the sun showed it self when I came home from work.

Can You see the young doe? She didn´t think that my dogs or I could see her so she stood absolutly still all the time. Her mother stood some yards away but didn´t care about us, she knows us well since long ago.

The hughe and awful problem a work has now been lifted from my shoulders. I haven´t the competense needed so the Union is taking over. We are many people that have had problems sleeping these last days and when I understood I didn´t have to deal with it any longer I slept like a log. But I had the strangest dreams last night :-)

I dreamt that one could see if an explosion was real or a fake if one looked at a photography. They never explained to me how an explosion that blew away anything near it could be fake though :-) :-) So they made real explosions and fake ones and I took a lot of photos :-) :-) :-) The result was the same which ever it was, but I could clearly see a big difference in the photo :-) :-) :-) Sometimes I wonder how the brain works :-) :-) :-)

The evening is cold here so now there´s a fire in the stove and I have a cup with hot tea by my side. They say that we still have summer as long as the medium temperature don´t fall under 10C (50F) for one week and we are still above that here, so I bid You all farewell from a cold summers day here in Sweden.
Take care now!

Hi Joyce!
Yes I´m glad that it´s over now. I will still be involved a couple of days more, but only to getv informed of what is happening.

I can´t understand how your hot weather still can stay by You! You´ve had it since early spring! I wouldn´t mind some of it here too :-)

Have a great day now!
Christer.

I wasn't pleased with most of the union work I did. I kinda know how you feel. Good that the union took over. Gorgeous photos today Christer. Even the dark ones are compelling. I love the Doe but cannot see the Mother. If she knows you, and trusts you, that's wonderful. What a paradise you have in Sweden. Love it!

Hi Christer, glad to read that you have less headaches now at your job. Hope your cold is better. We have had very high winds all day and it may be from hurricane Igor, but without any rain.

I didn't blog last week as I was away from VA and there was no internet access at my mother's home. It's good to be away from a PC for awhile.

Christer...the area you live and walk in IS magical! Amazing...like something out of a dream. In some of the photo's it seems spooky. I cannot imagine how dark it gets there at night. I remember once when we went on a trip and pulled into a rather deserted camp ground in the deep woods. It was winter and cold out and it got dark very fast once the sun went down. Pat had gone for a walk and it got dark just as he was returning to camp. It was so dark by the time he found our parked little motorhome, which was pure white, that he ran smack into it. I was inside and heard this crash..and then him laughing. I opened the door...(I had gone to bed) turned on a light. Poor Pat. He looked happy to be back!
It was so dark he could not see a white motorhome. :) I imagine it gets that dark there.
Mona

I mailed your little book today. I hope it arrives safely.

P.S. I am also glad you don't have to contend with problems at work and make decisions where someone...on one side or the other, will be angry with you. I wouldn't like to do it either.

Hi Christer,
Glad to hear that burden has been lifted from your shoulders.
The photos are lovely today, as every day. I especially like the last one. The light is so ethereal.
On our walk yesterday my dog and I came upon two does grazing in someone's backyard. My dog was ignoring them but they were watching him. I tried to look non-predatory so they would stay but they stamped their feet at me and moved to the next house. You see deer in field and forest and I see them in gardens and neighbors' poolsides. It's nice that they are adapting, I guess. The turkeys are also still around and the babies are very much larger now. They are very intimidating when the whole flock struts through the neighborhood.
Have a great day.

Hi Z&M!
I´m really glad they took over totally! I would never have managed to make any sence of this at all :-)

I´ve realised that some computer screens makes my photos much darker than they really are. I saw that on the computer screen at work. But if You can tilt Your screen towards You or from you they will become much brighter.

Yes the mother and we are old friends. She was very afraid in the beginning but nowdays barly moves when we comes :-)

Have a great day now!
Christer.

Hi Beatrice!
I´m glad too, this was just btoo much, something I never expected I ever would have to deal with. The cold seems to go away now, but I feel dead when I wake up in the morning :-) :-) :-)

I really hope Igor stays away from You!

I sometimes tales a week of from writing and reading blogs. It´s hard the first days but after that it justv feels good :-)

Have a great day now!
Christer.

Hi Mona!
It´s something like in that story You wrote about :-) :-) :-) (I´m still laughing after reading it the second time). I can´t see a thing if the sky is cloudy or if the moon is new :-)

There are some people that already is, perhaps not angry with me but clearly annoyed :-) But that is those that has no idea what really has happened so I don´t care about that.

I´m soo looking forward to that book :-)

Have a great day now!

Hi Caryn!
I´m really glad too! Now has the big guys taken over.

The last one is my favourite too. It almost hurts the eyes to look at the creek where the sun is reflected :-)

We have very few deers here nowdays and we think it is because of the bobcats and a very big fox that we have here. My neighbours feeds them during winter and they eat not far from the road we´re walking. So I passed them every day when I was home after surgery. But if someone unknown comes theu do like Yours does.

I do wish we had turkeys here, even if I know that they can defend themselves pretty good if they feel threatened :-) :-)

Have a great day now!
Christer.

Hi Christer,
It's cold every night here, in the low 50's and one night it went as low as 47. The saving grace is each day, usually in the 60's and beautiful.

This is my favorite time of year.

Hi Kat!
Much the same as here then. I don´t mind the cooler autumn weather to be honest, but I know it leads towards winter :-)

Have a great day now!
Christer.

Hi Didi!
I don´t trust these different readers that shows when someone has posted a new post :-) So You have most probably not seen that there´s a new post too :-) :-)It must have been here when You read this one :-)

I too can see fairies and gnomes (in my mind) when I see mushrooms like that :-) :-)

You are probably right about my brain needing to get rid of preassure and cleaning out that stress that I had this week. I had strange dreams this night too, but can´t remember any unfortunally :-) :-)

Have a great day now!
Christer.

Hi Andrea!
She is so beautiful!
The young one was a bit worried, that´s why she stood absolutly still. But her mother isn´t bothered at all when we comes :-)Most deers around herev knows that my dogs never hunts them by now, so even if we should almost walk in to one another they don´t panic.

Didi said the same thing, but I don´t trust those things any longer :-)

Have a great day now!
Christer.
