I´m a bit tired today because I didn´t get home until just before midninght yesterday. I was down in Gothenburg and so was the rest of the world it seems. "The Gotheburg Party" was this week. It´s a kind of festival where they serve food and lots and lots of beer a have different cultural events. Lots of music all over the city too.

It´s almost only photos of Bertil today.

I passed three South American Indian groups playing panpipes, guitars and tambourines and I immediately started to think of Simon and Garfunkle :-) :-) I also passed a group that played march music and a couple of rock bands. I could also se a hughe stage on the end of Gothenburgs main street, but no one entertained there when I passed. I didn´t bring my camera so You won´t see anything from it. Maybe next year.

The dinner was great and it was so fun to meet my cousines and naturally my aunt that invited me to her birthday party in this restaurant! Now it´s time for a cup of tea and then I´ll enjoy the beautiful weather we have today. Tomorrow I´ll start working again. Four weeks of vacation is really to little :-)
Have a great day now!

Tansy, Tanacetum vulgare. Has a smell that You either love or hate. I love it.

Christer.

Hi Didi!
I thought You would like the photos today :-)

I saw the embroidment of the oat a day ago, but I was a bit to tired to comment. I like it a lot!

The curiosity of a cat is so neat to watch! I miss having a cat. We have always had one and since my "Bump" died I have not had one. The add so much to our lives.
I loved your pictures!

It sounds like you had a wonderful time and it was a great end to a vacation! :)
Thank you so much, Christer, for your encouraging comments on Howards surgery. You and he have something in common...it is quite an ordeal. He has a therapist coming to our home twice a week and then we will have to take him in. Long process. I hope his is as successful as yours has been.

It's good to have him home and recovering. :)
I'm glad you enjoyed your vacation. One day it will permanent. It's a great time of life if you are healthy, and we are.
Enjoy your tea!
Mona

Hi Mona!
I wasn´t going to have any more cats when my last died, but then this rat made a visit here and these two I have now moved here :-) And I think I would miss having a cat if I didn´t have any.

Howards surgery is so much more complicated than mine, but I do understand what he is going through right now. It´s fantastic how soon we can come home after our surgeries nowdays! Five days at hospital and then we´re out :-)

Have a great day now!
Christer.

Christer, I'm glad you had fun, but I can't believe your four week vacation is almost over.
It seems like it was only a few days ago that I was reading your post about starting your vacation. Love the photos of your sweet cat Bertil too. Pets bring such joy into our lives, even if it's only by watching them do simple things every day. I'm happy you enjoyed the family party too! Have a GREAT week.

You're too old to be coming home at midnight. Shame! Lovely cat pictures today Christer. I wish you had taken your camera. I bet those photos of the city would have been great.

I can´t belive it myself! Time has just flown away!

It was really fun to meet relatives I haven´t met in years :-)

Hi Z&M!
Yes I´m way to old, I was going to take a short nap and slept almost two hours and could have continued for two more :-) :-) :-)

It would have been great if I had had my camera with me. But I didn´t want to carry it around all day.
Have a great day now!
Christer.

Bertil sure was the star of today's post - nice. Grenville and I both had cats & dogs which have since died. We are currently petless - maybe some day another cat or dog or both! I understand about some days wanting not to carry a camera, but then you do have the memories inside your head and heart and that is so important and sometimes better than being so busy taking pictures that you don't have time to enjoy all around you - been there and done that. You vacation time went by so quickly. Now you will have to save painting the cottage for another one!

Hi Beatrice!
I thought he deserved to be tha star of the day :-)

One is really tied up by having pets, especially if one hase three big dogs and two cat :-) :-) But I can´t think of a life without them :-)

My cousine took a lot of photos so he will mail them to me :-) But I agree with what You say, I would have missed so much of the party by taking photos all the time.

My cottage is so small that it will take at most three days to paintt it, if I take it slowly :-) :-) So I can do it on weekends instead :-)

Have a great day now!
Christer.

Hi Didi!
That beetle is going to be really great too!

It was a day with lots of troubles at work, as it always is the first day after vacation. But we survived it :-) :-)
Have a great day now!
Christer.

Hi Joyce!
Yes it was so fun to meet them again! Otherwise we´re not people that likes to meet to often, but once in ten fiteen years are great :-)

I try to keep the Tansy in one corner of my garden, but I´m afrais I´m loosing that battle :-)
Have a great day now!

Hi Perovskia!
I´m afraid that Bertil would mind very much to be squished :-) He isn´t cuddly at all. I can occasional have him in my arms for a minute or two, but nothing more. His orange brother Teodor is a totally different cat in that perspective. He never leavs :-)

It was a dasy filled with troubles like it lways is the first day after vacation, I just hope it´ll be better tomorrow. I do long for that cup of tea now :-)
Have a great day now!
Christer.

Perovskia said...

Aw.. Bertil doesn't like to be cuddled? Pity. Okay, I'll squish Teodor instead :)

Hi Perovskia!
Yes he is a much cuddlier cat :-)
Christer.
