Do You all know that we nowdays have a "Junk comment file" here om Blogger? I didn´t and now I realised that Beatrice had left a comment that got stuck there. I did wonder where that comment went, because I had read it in my mail :-) :-) So Beatrice! I just answered that comment You made on August 9 (You can find it under "It´s pitch black" on the sidebar). If You didn´t know that just look under the headline Comments on the place You write the blog.

I forgot to turn of my alarm clock yesterday evening so my dogs and I got up before 5am as usual. Since they were awake I thought it was best to let them out to do what they need to do and after that there was no use getting back to bed again. I normally wake up around that time anyway, but it´s always better to wake up without the help of an alarm clock.

My neighbours new garage for his two tractors. One of them stands in front of it here, do You think it will fit or does he has to make the garage a bit bigger :-) :-) :-)

It was a quiet morning, like it always is on a Saturday and I could hear a dog bark, probably from a farm on the mountain some miles away. Most of the fog had risen to the sky but some still lingered on the mountin sides. We have a doe that always is on the same place every morning when we take our morning walk. She´s rather young and the first times she saw us she jumped away in panik. Nowdays she barly strolls lazily away some yards and looks at us. Soon she won´t even do that :-) :-) I took a photo of her the other day, but I´m afraid I delelted it minutes ago.

If You click on this photo to make it bigger (something You can do on all photos) You´ll see the smoke comming out of my chimney.

Today will be a day dedicated to lazyness. I´ll replants some cuttings I have on my patio, open up some or all of those kernels I found in the Donut peaches/nectarines and sow them in moist paper towels and later put them in the fridge, read some and look at the Finn Struggle on tv. For those of You that don´t know what the Finn Struggle is I can tell you that it is the worlds oldest competition in Athletics between two countries. Sweden and Finlad meet every year since long ago in a battle where no one is above cheating to win :-) :-) It has happened that all competitors has been disqualified during a race :-) :-) I missed it yesterday because I sat here writing and reading blogs :-) But today I´ll make a pot of tea and watch it.

All the little black dots that You can see on the cable are swallows waiting for the insects to start flying around in the air.

I started a fire in the kitchen stove for the first time this season too this morning. It wasn´t especially cold inside to be honest, but all the rain that we´ve had has med the air a bit to humid even inside. So now my home is a bit to warm but it feels so much nicer when the air is dry. I think I´ll even open up my bedroom window again. It has been closed since the almost storm we had some days ago.

The weather forcast says that we will have some rain and some sunshine today, quite normal weather here for this season. But I wouldn´t mind if we got it a bit more dry here now. Just so that most of the deep holes and small ponds in the bog dries out for a while. That would most probably kill most of the fly and mosquitoe larvaes that needs water to survive and that would make next summer so much nicer :-)
Have a great day now!

Sulphur tuft, Hypholoma fasciculare. Beautiful but nothing You want to eat. People that has done that may die. It looks very much like an edible mushroom but is said to taste bitter.

Good Morning Christer, strikingly beautiful photos today. I love the first one and the one of your Cottage way back from the farmland. I like them all! I couldn't find the spam bucket that is new to Blogger. I got the messages we had one but still can't see where it is to use it. Glad you found it. I see mushrooms on dead bark here all the time and it looks similar to your lower photos of mushrooms. So we have that in common. Have a great weekend.!!

Hi Z&M!
I´m glad Ypu like my photos :-)

If You get to the place You download Your photos and text. Click on Comments. There You now can see all comments ever posted on Your blog. There also a head line that in swedish says "skräppost"- That would be Junkmail in english. Click there and those comments that blogger believes to be junk can be found.I never got that message.

Have a great day now!
Christer.

I just tried what you wrote and mine will take what is selected and treat as spam but there is no spam bucket to look at to see any junk mail that is in it. I flat out can't find it. But thanks for sharing.

Morning Christer, Thanks for the info on the junk comments in Blogger. I did find your reply comment about the frog noises I posted about in August. And I didn't know about being able to delete comments from that tab - thanks for the info.

Enjoyed today's photos of the neighbor's tractor building, which does seen large enough. Are those hay bales covered in plastic in the photo just above the last mushroom one? And I did find several mushrooms to take pics of but haven't posted them yet - will do that on the weekend. Today we go to another county fair. Enjoy your lazy weekend and the sports games.

I only mark those posts that are there and either click on No junkmail or delete. Can it look different on our different blogs?
Christer.

Hi Beatrice!
I got surprised when I suddenly found that little notice about junkmail. Never seen it before, but it must have existed since atleast August 9.

The garage is a tiny bit big :-) :-) He could fit a big lorry in there :-) :-)

I´m looking forward to those mushroom photos!
Have a great day at the fair!

Hi Christer, It sure looks beautiful where you are. I want to visit Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Norway, and Iceland someday. The cities are lovely, and the countryside photos you take are beautiful. It looks cooler in the photos too. It is colder in the mornings here now, but I love Autumn weather so I don't care.

Love the fall weather and we're starting to get snippets of it... down to 76F today! That's probably hot summer to you! Love the photos and your place... enjoy the games and the tea... going to look for my scrap comment folder...

Hi Terria!
I have to admit that I too think that it is beautiful here :-) If You only should visit one of those countries visit Norway. I don´t think that there is a more beautiful country on this planet. Perhpas New Zealand is equally beautiful. But it´s on the other hand very expensive in Norway, so come to Sweden :-) :-)

It is cooler now, but September can suddenly become really warm sometimes.

Have a great day now!

Hi Christer! My battle of the GREAT ANT WAR wages on! This morning at dawn I was up to check..and within minutes I found them...a new trail up my driveway to my potted rose bush..out came the HOME DEFENSE and I went on the warpath! Then..just when I though I had won, I saw them trailing up the side of the house right next to the water fountain, behind one the shutters on the front window and up, up, up and disappearing into a vent near the roof!!! *HUGE sigh*
I sprayed..but I think this is never ending.
All I want to do is sit on my front porch in peace, like you do, with my cup of coffee or tea!!

I know with the dampness where you are that there must be tons of insects. We live not far from a Cannel where overflow water is ...and it can be a real problem in the summer when it gets stagnant.
I love mushrooms..but will only eat mine from a store...and even the..very carefully!:)
Thank you for your words of sympathy about the Ants..

Our terrible heat wave has finally tapered off...but they say it will return after the weekend. It's lovely outside... :)

Hi Mona!
We might win a battle against the ants (or other insects) but they will win the war in the long run :-) :-) :-) I do hope that You can get rid of those ants and fast too!

I do know quite many different edible mushrooms, but never pick white ones that can be confused with white toad stool. Otherwise I pick lots :-)

Cold here now. We had a hail and thunderstorm here today and the temperature dropped to 45F!

Have a great day now!
Christer.

Hello Christer've been away from blogging, due to a terrible headache. And food poisoning.
But I feel better already.
I thought of you when friends came to visit me, we made some recipes for mushrooms! heheheheh
And I remembered you again when I saw on TV a matter, a Portuguese company has also developed a T-shirt Anti-based mosquito citronella and other ingredients. If you feel it and know what is really effective I send one to you.
As always your photos are beautiful and I loved seeing your house with smoke in the chimney!
Good night!

Hi Andrea!
Is it migraines You´ve had? I know how bad that can be, because I have it myself too. I do hope it stays away from now!

Foof poisoning isn´t especially fun either :-) I have had that twice in my life and both times on christmas.

I´ll try citronella here first. If it works I´ll tell You!

Have a great day now!
Christer.
