I´m having troubles concentrating on my blog today. Every three seconds I jump up from the chair and kill a fly sometimes a mosquito too :-) These flies are just annoying me because they always wants to go in to my ears or nostrils, the biting ones won´t come for yet some weeks.

It´s warm and sunny today and it will continue like this over the weekend they say. This is a period when we say we have “Iron nights”. These nights are usually the last nights with frost and the temperature can sink way below freezing point. I think I have to put something over my tomato plants tonight because last night was very close to be one of these Iron nights.

As soon as I came home after work my dogs and I took our walk out into the forest. There was a slight breeze so most of the mosquito´s stayed in the bushes. Even if they were out on the fields making the first plastic balls with silage, the forest was totally quiet. I can´t think of a better way to relax after a working week. We saw all the cranes on almost the same spot today too. I wonder what it is they are eating out there.

I had to mow the lawn today too. I wish I could have used my motor less one, but the grass was too high today. The one with a motor is great, no doubt about that. But sometimes it´s just nice to mow the lawn without having to have ear plugs so I don´t risk to become death :-) :-) The first time I heard that someone mowed the lawn I got a bit curious. Why on earth would anyone move their lawn and to where :-) :-) :-) It´s not always easy to understand other languages :-)

This is a clematis I sowed years ago. All i know is that one of its parents is Clematis coreana. It has a weak but pleasant scent.
This came from the same bag with seeds that I bought from an organisation we call "Garden amateurs". The word amateur means the one that loves.

Now it´s time for a pot of tea, then I´ll wait for the show “Modern Family”. Have You seen it. Sometimes it´s just fun, sometimes it´s hilarious :-) :-) :-)

Have a great day now!

Hi Joyce!
Since I´ve put out my tomato plants I really don´t want any more frost, but otherwise those mornings can be wonderful.

We do have some years without spring too and I do understand that You´re not happy about it! Spring is my favourit season of the year.

We had a period with thunder storms almost every day for a while and even if I love thunder it is a bit tiering in the long run.

I do hope You´ll get some cooler weather soon!
Have a great day now!

Hi Christer, such lovely photographs. I can almost smell your freshly mown grass.
I am always impressed with people who learn English, let alone are able to write in it as well. It is such a crazy language.
It is lovely looking at the photos of your spring garden.

Christer, I see Joyce's comment at the top so you didn't lose her.
I was here early today..Friday...and something distracted me and I didn't get to comment. I can't sleep so I came in to check and make sure I didn't comment or if I am just confused. I have the worst time keeping up with my visiting.
Since you lost the comments...I will never know. :)

The English language is supposed to be one of the most difficult ones to learn. I think you do wonderfully. Certainly better then I could ever speak or write your language.

In America..or I should say in California in America :) versions of the Spanish language are the most widely spoken. I lived all my life and was born near the Mexican border and cannot speak their language. I even took it in highschool...still can't speak it. :)
So...good for you being able to speak AND write two languages.

I love the photo of one of the dogs drinking from the stream.

Enjoy your tea. :)

Hi Mona!
I answered on Joyce comment yesterday, so that was already here. But all the others are lost, seven or eight of them!!

For sweeds english is rather easy to learn, every day talk that is. Swedish is said to be even harder to learn (but compared to finnish everything is easy :-) :-) :-) ) But there are so many words in english that can mean so many things that I sometimes gets a bit lost :-) :-)

I learned spanish long ago, but most of it is gone. One has to speak it often to be able to remember languages. So by writng my blog in english I keep that fresh in my head anyway :-)
Have a great day now!
Christer.
