We worked really hard at work today so I felt it would be nice to stay at home instead of taking a walk in the forest. But my dogs deserve one so of we went. When we had come out to the bog I stopped and sat down in the sun on the ground for a while. Almost immediately I felt the scent of blueberries, I had placed myself in the middle of a small field of blueberry bushes that are going to flower in a day or two.

All around me trees were getting their leafs and they filtered away all sounds from the outside world. I could hear pigeons up in the pines and a wood peckers drum roll on a tree not far away. No sounds not belonging there could be heard and I felt like I could sit there for the rest of my life.

I thought I had lost my "Jack in the pulpit" this winter, but here they are :-)

But I think it would have been rather cold already tonight, so I stod up and continued our walk. They had started sowing on the fields outside my cottage when we came home. They will make silage of it later this year. They sow oat, peas and different sorts of grass, but with those seeds others that isn´t supposed to be there will be sown too. Like cornflower and poppy amongst other wild flowers looked upon as weeds. It´s usually quite beautiful later in summer :-)

Well I´m still tired so a cup of tea will be fine I feel. Maybe I´ll look at some icehockey too, but the thought of my warm cosy bed feels much more appealing :-)

Have a great day now!

Christer, this really is a spring post today filled with DuPont Garden type photos. Very nice! I have had days like this too when the wonders of nature steal your thoughts and I have felt that maybe that is the answer to life. That is why we are on Earth, to enjoy that feeling.

Yesterday it truly was a wonderland :-)
Bertil was at home eating, he ran inside when we were going out so he missed it all. He wasn´t to happy when we came home :-) :-)
Take care now!

Hej Christer!

Tack!
Ha det gott!
Christer.
