Tulipa Tarda.

This day wasn´t magical for one second :-) We were even shorter with people than usual at work and after two o clock I was alone :-) :-) (I quit at 4pm). Well I did get help from another departement so we could pick down the reast of what we had painted :-) It will be much the same the two comming days, but on Thursday our long weekend starts :-) :-)

Border auricula, Primula x pubescens.

I had to mowe tha lawn when I came home so now I´m later than usual writing my blog. I was a bit worried I would have to write “Oh how the mighty fall” as a headline today. I´m talking about the world cup in icehockey :-) First USA looses against Germany!!! ( and just now I heard Denmark won against the USA also!!!!) then Finland against Denmark!!! and yesterday Sweden almost fell towards Norway!!! Well our players always looses against one of those countries in the end so we have our loss still to come :-) :-) :-)

Japanese poppy, Glaucidium palmatum, are popping up from the ground. The flower bud is hidden inside the leaf.

It´s time for a cup of tea, to read Your blogs and then of to bed I feel. My dogs are already sleeping, but the cats are outside doing what cats does best, sleeping in the last sunshine of the day :-)

Have a great day now!

I´ve never seen this bush in the forest earlier, even if it must have been there for many years.

But looking at the leafs and flower buds It must be some kind of Lornicea, Honeysuckle.

hi christer..your box shipped out today so look for it sometime in the future! is that sweet woodruff with yellow flowers i see in that seconds picture? i've never seen it with yellow flowers. my arborists have been trimming trees around the gardens all day and oh what a difference it makes!!! there is sunlight in areas that has not seen the sun in years. we are cleaning our fountain today so it should be up and running later. enjoy your tea! joyce

Hi Joyce!
I´m looking forward to it :-)
No it is Yellow wood anemone (Anemone ranunculoides), but now when I look at the photo it actually looks like it :-) :-)

It´s such a big difference when arborists have done their job, I admire them a lot! They always know where and how much to remove and still the trees looks just fine. Not always the result I get when I try it :-) :-) :-)

I love the sounds of fontains! It´s so soothing.
Have a great day now!
Christer.

It looks like Honeysuckle. I also like the yellow flower. Good photos today. The one with the rather haunting creek is a little creepy but I still like it. Already mowing? WOW! Looks like winter is well behind you now. Enjoy your evening.

That Japanese Poppy is interesting. I'd like to see it when it's open.

Hi Z&M!
Yes I guessit is some kind of honeysuckle and I think the flowers will open up in a day or two if it doesn´t get to cold.

That creek leads out to the bog, so I´m not sure I would like to be there at night :-) :-)
Have a great day now!
