My first day at work after the surgery went rather well. I couldn´t do my ordinary job that includes carrying 25kg (55 pound) paint sack and cleaning the paint box. So I picked down the painted material instead. Everyone was as surprised as I was that I already should start working and full time also. But if my doctor thinks that´s ok it most probably is. Since I do walk a lot when picking down the painted material I strengthen my thigh muscle and that is what I´m supposed to do now.

It was rather easy to wake up at five am though. I´m a morning person so I would only at the most have slept half an hour longer anyway. But it wasn´t that nice looking out. Even though the sun were shining everything was covered with a layer of frost. It was only -6,4C (around 21F) outside. Some plants has been damaged a bit in my garden by it, I saw that now when I came home from work but they´ll survive.

My first Daffodil is flowering now.
This old bird feeder wasn´t made in any better quality, so I put it down into the floerbed below. Now it looks like a small cottage in a fairy tale :-)

I have to admity that I´m quite tired now and after have been sitting here in front of the computor my body aces, especially my left leg. But that is what to expect I guess. It is the same pain one gets after a good workout :-) :-) :-) Tomorrow morning won´t be nice :-) :-)

I managed to change the settings on the camera when we were out walking, so suddenly the photo´s looks a bit cold :-) :-)

Well it´s time for a cup of tea and then some streching I think. I was going to test my rowing machine again for the first time after surgery too, but I think that´ll wait another day or two :-) :-)

Have a great day now!

Hi Joyce!
Yes it is. April was colder than normal over here and May starts the same way too. I´m wondering how it is in Alaska since that is as north as Sweden is. I have to find a blog from thare so I can compare.

But You´ve gotten some rain at least, but I wonder how hot it will be if cooler weather doesn´t reac You soon.
Have a great day now!
Christer.

Christer.

I should send you some of our sunshine. We are hitting in the 90's almost everyday now. It's unusual for May. I think we are getting cheated from our winter weather, cool breezes, sleep with the windows open all night. Glad you made it back to work OK. It is rather soon though.

Hi Christer,

That seventh photo looks like a fairy bower. Misty and mysterious.

I hope tomorrow you don't wake up with too much ache in the muscles.

Enjoy your tea.

So glad to see you are getting back into the swing of things again Christer. I hope today is a good one for you as well. I love the fairy house and the pets all look so good.

Glad to hear you're doing okay. Take it easy, though. Hope tomorrow morning you're feeling okay.

The little birdhouse looks cute in the flowerbed. I'd be interested to see if any little critters inhabit it :)

Hi Z&M!
It would be nice with some of Your sun and heat :-) I´ll just start hoping for winds from south west then :-)

A bit to early to sleep with open windows over here though :-) :-)

It works ok at work, but I had hoped for a couple of more weeks at home :-)
Have a great day now!
Christer.

Hi Perovskia!
I´m just doing the easier jobs at tye moment and will continue to do so for yet another week. My hip is ok, the implants is on the same places they were put on :-) But my thigh muscle needs some more time.

I have looked if there were ant animals in it, but so far it´s without inhabitants :-)
Have a great day now!

Yes all pets are well exept for Hector that is limping a little. They all do rather often since they play rather rough :-) :-)
Have a great day now!
