It´s almost impossible to see it, but there are five deers in this photo. But You can at least see how our afternoon sky looks like :-) :-)

The strangest thing happend just before ending my work day today. I was painting some things by hand when It suddenly felt like something ran down my left leg (the leg they just given me new parts in my hip) I thought I was bleeding or something but I wasn´t wet at all. Just minutes after it happened again and then I lost my sensory in big parts of my skin?! It feels rather strange, like I had a layer of plastic over the skin if You can understand how I mean. A nerve must have broken for some reason I don´t understand, I just stood more or less still at the time. If this isn´t over by Monday I think I must phone the hospital to hear what they say about this.

Sweden is a member country of the European Union, something we sweeds always seemes to regret that we once wanted :-) :-) Swedes and Brits are the two people most negative to the union (closely followed by the Danes :-) ). Most of the Eu has the Euro as currency, but we sweeds voted no to join that in a referendum something that almost drove our politicians insane :-) :-) :-) They said we all would benefit from it in all ways and that the Euro would be such a much more satbile currency. Well if You follow the world economics You, as well as we, now know that it wasn´t especially true. Greece has so big troubles that the whole currency now just falls in value.

The big problem is that there are several more countries in the Euro zone that has almost as big troubles as Greece and that threatens the whole world economy. Not good now when it slowly is comming back from the last crisis. Lots of swedish politicians has lately been speaking of a new referendrum about the Euro, but today they have stopped talking about it. I´m happy that we have our own currency :-) (by the way I voted no the the Euro and also to join the union).

The Lilacs has flower buds already!

The Yellow wood anemone (Anemone ranunculoides)

The winds has reached the force of gale and clouds has started to cover the sky. It´s cold also and already tonight heavy rains will fly in over my little place on earth. There´s a fire in the stove and I can smell the pot of tea that waits for me downstairs. This will be an indoors weekend and perhaps that´s a good thing since my sensory is slightly gone :-)

Have a great day now!

Hi Joyce!
I laughed so much when I read about those contacts :-) Í can understand that it must have been terrible for You when it happened though.

We won´t get warmer weather for at least another week, but as long as it doesn´t sink below freezing point during the day I won´t complain.

I´m looking forward to that box :-)
Have a great day now!

Hi, Christer

Nerve damage is often progressive. You should talk to your doctor immediately to avoid the possibility of permanent damage. I cannot stress this enough.

Our lilacs are rapidly fading away. They are one of my favorite spring flowers but they linger such a short time.

Lovely photos today. The second one looks like witch hazel (Hamamelis?) flowering. Can't really tell though.

Enjoy your tea and call the doctor. :-)

Hi Caryn!
If it doesn´t change until tomorrow then I´ll call the hospital. Something similar happened to my little finger once, but the sencory came back after a while. But I will call, promiuse.

I have to much lilacs here, a 45 meter (about the same in yards) hedge and then some more in the garden. It´s nice while they flower, but when they start fading away they small awful.

Unfortunally it´s way to hard for Hamamelis to live around here, but when You say the second photo do You mean the second from the forest with red leafs? That´s a red berried elderberry.

Have a great day now!
Christer.

Please don't wait too long before calling the doctor. If things haven't improved, the minute you get up in the morning, call the doctor. Again, the pix are great and I hope your summer weather returns. It's much hotter than norm around here and, frankly, I'm tired of it. This is the time I usually do yard work because the weather is cooler -- but, not this year. The gods are having quite a time, I can tell you.

Hi Sharlene!
The sencory comes and goes at the moment, I think it might be a nerv that gets squesed now and again. But I´ll call if things doesn´t improve until tomorrow.

Ovet at Yours it´s to hot to do yeard work and here it´s to cold :-) Yes they sure have quite a time now :-) :-)
Have a great day now!

Oops. I can't count. It's the third one from the top.

I agree about the lilacs when they fade. Heavy scented flowers often smell bad when they start to go by. The privet hedge in my yard flowers each year and it smells like lily-of-the-valley for about a week. Then it stinks.

Hi again Caryn :-)
I didn´t look to closely on that little tree, but it´s either a young birch or a young cherry tree.

The lilacs are so beautiful when they flower and the scent is wonderful, but it only lasts a week and then the stink comes :-) :-) It behaves much like a hughe weed here too, so I´m rather tired of it to be honest :-)
Take care now!

Ditto everyone's advice here Christer, call the doctor. I've been through two surgeries and you cannot wait. Call first thing in the morning. Stunning photos, I stayed and looked for a long time. Love the one with the dogs and I see two deer in the deer photo. I had my walkway, porch and huge driveway painted with a nice Sahara Tan stain and of course the painters picked a day when it would rain cats and dogs overnight. I'm not paying them to come back. Much of it dried in this heatwave we're having but the white shows through on the west side so I will buy more paint and do it myself this weekend. Such is life. Call that doctor!!!

Hi Z&M!
The sensory has come and gone many times now so it must be a nerv that is squeesed somewhere. I just wonder where but it feels like it most probably is my back that is the problem. At the moment I can feel all over my leg.

Strange how those thinga always happens, so that the paint has troubles drying. I would do like You, buy som more paint and do the rest myself. I have too see how that color looks, sounds warm and pleasant.
Have a great day now!

What an interesting post, Christer! Lots of good info there..I read it to Howard and he went into a bit more detail...
It's been very warm here...I am really dreading the heat. I am a cold/cool weather person and Fall and Winter are my season.

I honestly think you should have left work and gone straight to the emergency room for a look see at that leg. It really doesn't sound good...
I'm really concerned...and I'll be glad when you have it checked. The sooner the better!!
Be very careful this weekend and Monday you will go in...right?

Hi Mona!
Some european countries have spend to much money so now they risk getting bankrupt. But The big countries like Germany and France won´t let that happen thankfully!

Yes You´ve gotten all heat this spring and we got all rain and cold weather instead :-) But I do hope it´ll change soon towards warmer over here.

I just thought it was a bit strange with my leg, but now I know why. At the moment it comes and goes :-) :-) I´ll eat a lot of little anti inflammation pills and all will get better :-)
Have a great day now!
Christer.

Christer.
