I started a fire in the stove as soon as i got inside today. It has been raining, hailing and even snowed a bit today and the winds has been really nasty and cold. Days like these are made for working :-)

I met three soaking wet and happy dogs when I came home after work. It´s a bit strange, if I try to shower them one could think I tried to kill them. But if it rains all day they stand outside all the time (if I´m not at home that is. Then they rather stay indoors sleeping in my bed :-) ). I looked inside the doghouse and I don´t think a single drop of water from my dogs had touched the blankets :-) It was warm, dry and nice inside there :-) :-) :-)

Raindrops on the spruce are glittering in the sunshine.

My body felt stiff this morning :-) :-) and my muscles were quite sore. But after a couple of hours working I felt ok again. But already now I feel it will be much the same tomorrow :-) :-) But I didn´t think much of it because I had so much to do at work that time just flew away. We were a bit short staffed today so I had to be everywhere at the same time :-)Things are looking much better over here now. All big companies and even our banks!?!?!? makes big profits so perhaps they will start rehiering lots of people again.

A flowerbud on my tree peony
and on my low juneberry (Amelanchier spicata). I love the berries this bush/tree gives. Unfortunally so does birds so it´s a war going on when they ripe :-) :-)

I feel it´s time for more firelogs in the stove and I have to refill my tea cup also. There were a bit of sunshine when we were out walking, but now thick clouds covers the sky and more rain is falling. The rain will stop already tonight but there will be no sunshine for several days and it will stay rather cool, but I´m working so who cares :-) :-)

Have a great day now!

Checkered daffodill (Fritillaria meleagris). This flower loves living in my garden and spreads nicely. I have the white one too.

Hej Christer!

Märkligt, att trots att din vår börjar ett par veckor senare än min så befinner vi oss på samma trädgårdsstadium nu!
Ha det gôtt bland den spirande grönskan!/Anja

You sound like you are happiest when you're busy. Glad your company is doing well. I read so much about the Euro tanking, our stock market reacting negatively to all the news from Europe. It's not good news. Lovely photos today Christer. Thanks again for sharing.

Christer.

Hi Z&M!
Yes I love when it´s busy! No time to watch the clock then :-)

Yes big parts of Europe has troubles with their finances, especially those that has the Euro. Greece is close to banruptcy and both Spain and Portugal are closing in to the same problems. That disturbes our economy too since we are so dependent of our export industry. But we all cross our fingesr that the Euro countries that still has money helps those that doesn´t have any.

Brittain too has hughe problems, but their economy is so big that they most probaly will manage to turn it by them selves.
Have a great day now!

Hi Joyce!
Yes, it mustn´t rain the week they flower :-) :-) Last year I was lucky in that way, but it was so hot that they only lasted a couple of days anyway :-) :-) My started out as purple but nowdays they are white with a dark red spot in the centre on each petal.

I know we all will love that banan pudding!!! We are a bunch of people that are very weak for those kind of deserts :-) :-)
Have a great day now!

Hi Joyce!
The cream cheese is no problems, we have Philadelphia here to. But it is the crackers I wonder if I can change and that condensed milk. There must be something in the big supermarket :-)
Take care now!

I really thought I posted a comment earlier. Hmm.

You HAVE to send more pics of the checkered daff. Wait, that's a daff and not a tulip? I've heard of checkered tulips. Odd. Anyways, I want more pics :) Try and catch it when it's opened.

I like the field picture (the first one). The sky is a beautiful sort of different blue.

Hi Perovskia!
I promise that I´ll post more photo´s of it. But it´s not really a daffodill either (nor a tulip). It belongs to another part of the lily family.
Have a great day now!
Christer.
