The road does perhaps not look so much better today, but I could walk along the edges without problems. It took some minutes until my dogs realised that too. But they seeme to love sliding around on that ice :-)

I´ve been a bit worried about Bertil for a couple of days now. He hasn´t been home at all and I´ve been wondering if something had happened to him. It has happened before but he has always come home again. Last time he was scared by a fox, I think anyway, and had hidden in my neighbours old stable.

It was really exiting to walk down this little slope :-)

As You can see the gravel raods were in much better condition to walk on.

We found him at the same place this time too :-) He had most probably been waiting for us there yesterday morning, but since we never got away on any walk he stayed there for some reason. So he started to complain loudly when we finally passed there this morning instead :-) :-) I can´t understand why he doesn´t just walk styraight home if we doesn´t come, I mean it´s just around 100 meters from home (about the same in yards) :-)

This is much how the weather will be today, but I´m not complaining as long as it makes the snow melt.
I thought that the best roads would be in the forest, since we haven´t walked much there and pressed down the snow to hard on the ground. I was really wrong :-) :-) I can say that it was really exiting to walk there now since the roads were really icy :-) :-) It was so easy to walk when we came out on the gravel raods again :-) :-)

Now my dogs are sleeping on the floor in my living room.
Now I´m waiting for my ordered food to be dlivered to my door. Hopefully this will be the last time I need to order home food like this. It´s great that one can do like this and to be honest, I do save a lot of money even if it is a bit more expensive to do like this. I get what I need and nothing else. When I buy my food by myself so many other things goes down that basket :-) :-)

And Bertil in front of the aquarium, his favourite place :-) I hope I one day can take a photo of him trying ti fish :-) He does that every day when he thinks I can´t see it, but I haven´t got a chance to photograph it yet.

So now I´ll make another pot of coffee, I have no tea at the moment, and just wait. Not only food will come to me today, there will also be a hughe chocolat bar in the bags :-) Milk chocolat with crushed hazel nuts MMMMMMMM, because I´m worth it :-)

Have a great day now!

Ha´t himla gôrgôtt i helgen

Hejsan Tyra!

Christer.

Is that an old photo of Bertil across from the fish tank or did he finally come home? I would be worried. I'm even concerned now about the Porch Kitty. She showed up late this morning and for a bit I thought something bad happened to her. That's why I hate getting attached to outdoor pets. Worry, worry, worry. So Christer, you think you're worth that candy bar? Well, I'll have to think about that one for awhile. Have a great weekend.

Hi Alice!
Yes I am :-) :-)

They are pretty well behaved, at least some times :-9 Old Erna knows she can get away with much these days and since she doesn´t hear a thing she does much as she pleases :-)
Have a great day now!
Christer.

Hi Z&M!
Only new photo´s today. He followed us on our walk as soon as we passed that old stable and then back home again :-)

Yes it is a lot of worrying when getting attached to outdoor pets. Usually they are doing just fine, but one never knows that until they finally shows up again.

And yes, I am really worth that chocolate :-)
Have a great day now!

Christer,
You are worth that chocolate bar and many, many more.

Bertil looks glad to be home.

The dogs look so comfy as does Bertil. I always think we should take a lesson from animals who sleep so deeply and so well.

It's good to see you have a bit of road.

Enjoy your tea and chocolate.

Hi Kat!
I feel so too :-) :-)
Yes animals has a gift of relaxing that we humans most often doesn´t. It´s strange but now when I´m home every day I tend not to take afternoon naps, but I did so today and I think I´ll continue with that :-)
Have a great day now!
Christer.

Hi Joyce!
I hope I can take a photo when Bertil is fishing. But he knows I don´t like that so I´ll have to be very quiet when doing it :-) :-)

That chocolate bar made the day I can tell You :-) :-) I should have saved some for tomorrow :-)

Have a great day now!
Christer.

Christer, there is nothing like seeing your animals so relaxed. I love the dogs all three laying together. Bertil how glad I am that he came back. Cats can be so weird! Mine Murphy is meowing to be let outside as I type.
As for chocolate ...mmmmm

Of course you are worth that chocolate bar. :) I tell myself that but then when I put my jeans on and they are a wee snug, well..not so sure.
I am glad Bertil has been found. And..I must say..of you were bare foot with just a bit of padding on your little feetsies...you would wait to be carried home over ice too. Every tried to run on ice? Not easy I'm sure. Had that fox been the the area...Bertil would have had a difficult time RUNNING!
Smart cat, Bertil!! :)
Enjoy your chocolate and coffee.
Mona
Oh...and thanks for all the pic's of the dogs!! Gorgeous!!

Bertil has now driven us all out of the bedroom being a bit too nice not letting anyone of us continuing to sleep. It´s 6am :-) :-)

Hi Mona!
One good thing not being able to buy my own food at the moment is that there is very little candy in what I do get to my home :-) :-) and one can always buy bigger jeans :-) :-)

The strange thing is that I´m not allowed to carry him, so he ha sto walk around on those cold, wet and icy roads anyway :-)

Have a great day now!
Christer.

I stopped over to check out your blog after seeing your comment on Jaz@Octoberfarm. I LOVE your photos of your animals! On my blog I worry sometimes that I write about my pets too much but people always leave nice comments so I guess they like to hear about them. My very first post that I wrote was about my cat "Ghost" who was gone for a month and 3 days. I had him microchipped, so when he was found one town over, they were able to return him to me. It was such a relief. I was so upset with worry. so, anyway, I will definitely be back to visit your blog again... beautiful photos! - Cindi

I love it! "MMMMMMMM...because I'm worth it!!!" You say the dearest things Christer. I so love following you around in your lovely, lovely cottage by Cranelake life. I live now in Southern California (USA) but I grew up in Michigan (USA) and miss the beautiful snow and cold. Your pictures are purfect. Your walks, your sweet pets all... I so enjoy to follow as well. You are a sweet and creative soul, an I just wanted to thank you for sharing your lovely realm☂

Hi Cindi!
Welcome to my little blog!

The most certain way to get comments in ones blog is to write about the pets :-) :-) But I don´t think one can write to much about them.

I´m not sure but I think that my first post here was about the day when old Erna was born. I think that day will be the last I forget when my memorie goes :-) It was both terrible and fantastic :-) :-)

Our animals are a part of our family, naturally we get worried when they doesn´t come home. I prefere a tattoo in the ear of my animals (dogs must be either micro chipped or tattooed in this country) To many places doesn´t have that micro chip reader here.

Welcome back and have a great day now!
Christer.
