It´s been a real cold night once again, but the sun is up and tries to shine through the thin clouds way up in the air. I could once again hear the pigeons and a few other birds had also started with their spring songs. Otherwise it was completly quiet on our walk.

On one side of the road the animals has had an open spot where they can drink water if they need to. This morning it had a thick layer of ice.

I managed to go all the way down to the creek this morning. Normally a walk down there and back would take around twenty minutes, but with crutches and Icy spots the walk took around an hour :-) But I did it and that´s the important thing :-)

There´s still no opening in the creek on the other side though, just tracks.

The big finale of the swedish heats of the Eurovision song contest is over now. The show was on Saturday, and the standard was lower than usual (and that says a lot :-) :-) :-) ) But there were two songs i really liked. The one I liked the most came second and the one I had as number two won, so I´m not totally dissapointed. It´s a nice little song and it can actully go all the way I think. Down below is the video from the competition so You can decide for Your self if it´s good or not. She´s just eighteen years old.

For some resaon I can´t imbed the video here in my blog, so just click on the name below and You´ll come to Youtube instead.

Now it´s time for a cup of tea (or two :-) ) I´m really tired after the walk so it might be a little nap too :-)

Have a great day now!

Tjänare Nina!
Men gissa om jag var slut efteråt :-) :-)

Temperaturen ligger runt minus tio tolv grader på nätterna här. Inget jag uppskattar alls :-)
Ha det gott!
Christer.

Hej Christer!

Jag KANSKE kan hjälpa dig att lägga upp youtube bilder.
När du är i ditt inlägg kan man välja textrutan i två versioner. Se ovanför 'Förhhandsgranskning'. 'Redigera html' eller 'skriv'. Välj 'Redigera html' när du klistrar in

hi christer.....i finally made it down to the lower gardens for the first time since the snows came. ugh! one of my beautiful japanese maples cracked in half. i am hoping the whole tree doesn't die but it might. i have a bunch of arbs down too but i just look at it as natures way of thinning things out. i sure have my work cut out for me. it is still cold and rainy here but that is changing tomorrow. however, they are calling for snow next monday. i would like a bit more snow but i think i am the only one that feels that way!! joyce

Christer.

Hi Joyce!
Strangly enough I can´t find anything that is broken due to heavy snow here. But I´m sorry to hear about Your Japanese maples! They are all so beautiful, but not hardy enough to grow in my garden.

We will get some of Your lowpressures now :-) Some rain but mostly warmer winds :-) I hope that will melt down the snow rather fast :-)
Have a great day now!
Christer.

That's a nice song. I forgot you always watch that competition. The comments are in Swiss so I can't read them, won't translate for some reason. I like that golden kitty picture you posted. A nap a day keeps the doctor away. I hope for your sake Spring arrives soon.

Hi Christer!
I am amazed that you walked that far on crutches and...in snow! Now I feel lazy because I wouldn't do it without crutches. I am a wimp! No doubt about it! :)
Congratulaions on making it there and back. Good for you!

I did go and watch the young woman sing her song..and I thought it was very good. I was not bowled over but she is a good little singer with lots of personality. I was surprised that I could understand her and that she sang the song in perfect English. Could the audiance understand her or are the words transposed into English for listening over here?
Anyway, it was a pleasant surprise.

What a great shot of Teodor! Contented cat!!
Enjoy your tea. I am drinking coffee laced with vanilla creamer and some pretzels dipped in peanut butter. I just ruined my dinner. :)

Hi Z&M!
Not strange if the translation doesn´t work, You´re trying the wrong language :-) :-) Swedish, not Swiss :-) :-)

I really like that photo too.
Have a great day now!

Hi Kat!
I don´t think there´s a single person that likes the fact that winter still is here :-) We´ve gotten used to warm and short winters so this is just a pain in the ... :-) :-)
Have a great day now!

Hi MOna!
Well it took its time to walk there and I was as tired as if I had been running a marathon afterwards :-) :-) But I´m so glad I did it anyway :-)

It´s a nice song and as You say she has a lot of personality in her self and in her voice. This kind of song can flop directly or be a hughe success, one never knows before.

We all speak rather good English here in Sweden. So no one has troubles understanding what she´s singing. We learn it from the second year in school You see.

Sometimes it´s worth ruin ones dinner :-) :-)
Have a great day now!
Christer.
