I wonder what the poor Ladybug eats now? I think it should have continued to sleep for yet another month.

This weekend someone won the big lottery over here. 215 million sweish kronor, that would be around 29 million US dollars. Well it wasn´t me.that I can tell You. The fun thing is that even if the lottery buissness knows who the person is and the phone number and the adress thay can´t find him :-) My guess is that he has gone abroad on vacaton before the lottery this Saturday, so it´ll be a nice surprise when comming home again :-) :-)

This birch will never have any problems with drought I think since it´s growing up from an old well :-) :-)

It´s raining again today and will continue like this for a while more. It´s not really cold outside but the damp weather sort of eats its way inside our homes so most of us has a fire in our stoves now. My cats like that but my dogs prefere it a bit cooler (I´m with the cats on this one :-) :-) ).

I love these different fungi.

Tomorrow I´ll have to go to my former accountant, no problems with that really. She´s nice and is gold worth! But we thought last year was the last one I needed her help since I still had my buissness. But the Revenue ( or is it Treasury) had different ideas it seemes. Well it´s nothing complicated, it´s just a paper that has to be completed, but I really thought I had put my old gardencenter behind me now. I loved that place, but it wasn´t a pleasant gost to get a visit from if You know what I mean :-) :-) It almost destroyed my whole economy and now when the economy is really good again the memories gave me cold chills down my spine :-)

This is my red berried Elderberry tree. It´s a species from Ussuria in eastern Russia. It´s said not to have poisouness berries, but I´m not going to test that :-) :-) It´s not as hardy as the ones we have in the wild here and I love it for the twisted branches it has.
The Pulmonaria has already small flower buds. I guess that it´ll flower within a week. The flowers starts out pink and turnes blue after a while.

Well it´s time to make another cup of tea, put another log in the fire and perhaps once again try to make the digital box work so I can see tv again. I don´t know how it is out there in the world, but Sweden and Brittain were the two first countries that changed to digital broadcasting. Now we can´t see tv if we don´t have that little box that makes those digital signals understandible for the tv. I guess I have to buy a new one, this box gave up the day after the warranty period ended :-) :-)

Have a great day now, I will!

I just have to show You this tent! Normally those who follows the cranes has caravanes or something likeweiss. But here they have a tent. As You can see it has a small chimney, so I don´t think they´ll freeze in there during nights :-)

Those cams facing the Lake are too far away from the Cranes, I think. One is rather blurry too. But I can imagine campers loving to be there for all the Crane action. Even through the cold weather. And I love the Elderberry too. It makes it's own forrest out of its' branches. Well, well, 29 million eh? That will buy a lot of groceries. He or She will have an unexpected surprise of all surprises once they return. How wonderful! A feeling of being free of debt and the thrill of going where you want anywhere in the world or just retire in style. Buy a new car. Wow! I would like that. It's a good thought to start this week Christer, thanks.

Hi Z&M!
Yes these are standing on a parking space made just for this event every year. So here we can find all kinds of vehicles and in this case tents :-) These are the people that follows the cranes north all the way from southern europe.

Yes, that is a nice surprise I think :-) We know it´s a man but naturally they don´t give away his name. I hope he has a strong heart so he can take the news :-) :-)
Have a great day now!
Christer.

hi christer.....why do people follow the cranes? that tent looks like a teepee to me. that guy sure will be happy to find out he won the lottery! joyce

Hi Joyce!
They actully follows special cranes. Many of them are marked with big plastic marks around their leg, so they are easy to spot. Many, especially germans and danes it seemes, likes to follow their cranes every year. Perhaps they feel they know those cranes in a way? I was surprised when I heard that the first time.

Yes that tent isa sort of Tipi (or a Kåta as the Sames tents are called here in Scandinavia) I´ve seen one before but that was years ago.

I think he will be rather happy when they finally finds him :-) :-) I would be happy for half that ammount :-) :-) :-)
Have a great day now!

This is really strange! I can´t see more that a few photo´s in any blogger blog!! I have no problems anywhere else?? I clikced on one photo that doesn´t show and I got the message thet the server had problems. So most probably it´s my internet company that has problems at the moment. I hope it gets solved soon.

Yes, we are now on digital television and all had to get the new box. Lots of complaints and it had to be delayed once because so many said they couldn't do it...even through the Government was paying most of the cost for them. I think it cost about $40.00 All done now.

Hi Mona!
I think all countries that has started with digital television has had problems. Over here it was Swedish Television that wanted it more than any one else. Much the same prise here then. But it is annoying when it doesn´t work, even if it´s not to expensive to buy a new box.
Have a great day now!
Christer.
