I COULDN´T DOWNLOAD A SINGLE PHOTO HERE TODAY!!!! BUT I HAVE POSTED THEM IN MY OTHER BLOG ON WORD PRESS INSTEAD AND i THINK I´LL MOVE THERE ON THURSDAY!

By the way, I was wrong about how much I can download in that blog! It´s 3 GB, nothing else :-)
Just follow this adress and You´ll see my photos :-) :

The cottage by the Crane lake.

It is time to start thinking about Christmas now. Well not really Christmas but what photo I´m going to have on my Christmascards this year. Back in the days when i started doing my own cards, well i didn´t make them myself but I did choose the photo that they then put on the cards, I always choose the worst or most peculiar card I had taken during the year.

My first card had a photo of my green Citroen covered in snow on my parking space. Another showed our very, very green outhouse at our summerhouse, naturally covered in snow :-) I have had a blurry photo of my hotel room when I was in Paris and I have also had a photo of the inside of a street car :-) :-) These Christmas cards were so popular that when I stopped making them people got angry with me :-) :-)

But last year I had a rather good photo with mushrooms in it. I have had some bad photos taken this year, but not bad enough I´m afraid and I haven´t seen anything peculiar to photograph either. Well I still have time for that but it looks as if I have to use a good photo this year too. But as I said, there´s still time :-) :-)
Some of You that follow my blog and I have the addresses to will get one in the ordinary mail, but I will take a photo and show here for all you others out there.

I have also felt the urge to do any kind of crafts, like building a cupboard or a ship or something :-) :-) :-) Nothing of that will happen because I´m not especially handy to be honest :-) :-) :-) But there´s nothing much to don here in the winter when it gets dark already at 4:20pm. I am writing a little story for my nieces children though, but in the speed I´m writing it they will be grown ups before I´m finished with it :-) :-) :-) So I´ll better visit the closest crafts shop to see if they have something easy, yet funny to do during the dark winter nights.

But for now I´m happy with the fire that is burning in the stove and for the cup with hot tea I have here by the computer. Only Bertil is active, the rest of the animals is sound asleep somewhere in my little cottage.
Have a great day now!

Hi Christer,
I've been to the other site and it looks good.

Don't want to think about Christmas just yet. Much too early.

Winter is a tough time for activities when it gets light so late and dark so early. I knit and read books. Well, I do that anyway but more so in winter.
You could build a model ship from a kit. They're not difficult but the tiny parts could be hard on the eyes in the winter dusky.

It's dark and cold here again with a bit of rain. Time for some tea. Have a good day.

Hi Caryn!
I saw that so I have already answered You there :-)
It will take some time until I understand how it works in Word Press but I´ll get there :-) :-)

I do read a lot too, but for some reason I just can´t understand I want to do something with my hands this winter :-) I used to build small models when I was younger, but I think there were more glue than model when I was finished with it :-) :-) :-)

Have a great day now!
Christer.

Hi Joyce!
Now You´ve made me curious :-) I´ll be looking forward to some mail then :-)

I could of course read more books but as You say, the weather does something to us :-) :-) It will soon be to dark to photograph on our walks too.

Have a great day now!
Christer.

Joyce will likely send a cookbook and keep your butt in the kitchen all winter. I personally hate to switch from Blogger as it would be a huge jump for me. I will write and let them know the new photo software doesn't work and has even made the old on more difficult to use. It takes me twice as long to post on my blog. God help me if I want to use type. So if not fixed by end of October, I will join you. Lovely pictures today and they load full screen very easily from WordPress. I like!

Hi Z&M!
One never knows with joyce :-) She´s spoiling me and I like it :-) :-)

I can´t say I fully understand how it works on Word Press but I do like it. It seems very easy and so says Kat.

But I have to admit that I have liked this place a lot, but all the problems that we´ve had here this year is just to much! They have to test these softwares a lot before they force them on us!

Have a great day now!
Christer.

Hi Christer!
What a shame what happens to Blogger! It was expected that a large company would be more responsible. Even in the comments gives error.
Ahh I love these pictures with big pink tongues. And then the three together is more than cute:)
One thing that can not like the Word Press are the windows that open all the time, very boring.
Ahh good that you like crafts. A good occupation for the cold is making kniting. Keeps hands warm and you make sweaters scarves and quilts to warm more:) Do not be surprised my suggestion, after all there are many men who knit.
I think Zoey right! Joyce will send a cookbook!
A kiss and until soon ... at least I hope:)

Hi Christer - the photos were great! though I was expecting another sunflower picture :))) I especially liked the one on the trail with the dog and cat in the foreground with the other dog in the background. Sorry I can't tell the dogs apart & forget their names anyway... Is it Bertil the cat?
If you switch I will follow you on WordPress as I really enjoy reading about your days and seeing the pictures. It is so much like northern Ontario where I grew up... but on the other side of the world! Just fantastic!
I have to say I like the banner better on WordPress...
Have a great day & stay warm.

Hi Christer, sorry to read about all the problems lately with posting photos. I have not been using blogger, but Windows Live Writer which sadly gave you such problems. And this week started using Pocasa as a photo editor because it lets me do collages so easily!

I did set up a blog on WordPress but deleted it because of spending more time on the Blogger site that Grenville and I work on jointly.
I'm going to check out your WordPress site and will bookmark it future reference.

Hope you find something you enjoy for the long winter nights

Hi Didi!
I have just lost a long answer to You now, so now I´m even more tired of Blogspot!

I have to admit that I hate knitting :-) :-) :-) But I know of many men that does knit and I´ve heard that it is quite popular in our parliament.

It´s impossible to guess what Joyce surprises me with, but I promise to show it here :-)

Have a great day now!
Christer.

Hi Alice!

There will be a sunflower photo today, but I´m sorry to have to say that it will be the last one.

Not even I can tell my dogs apart sometimes :-) :-)I have to see them from their front so iu can see if someone has white fur on the chest :-) :-)

have a great day now and I´m looking forward to meet You on Word Press :-)
Christer.

Hi Beatrice!
Pocasa? haven´t heard of that program before! Let me know if it is something You like after a while too :-)

I started an account on Word Press once for a reason I can´t remember :-) But I´m glad I did. I have had a couple of blogs here at Blogspot and I have always had smaller problems, especially loading photographs. But this time it´s just too much, to be honest there wouldn´t be much of a blog without my photographs :-)

But I´m glad that You´ll follow me to my new blog there :-)

Have a great day now!
Christer.
