I have a lot of things to do should I wish to do them. My little home is a mess with papers and books spread all over. It takes about ten minutes to sort that out I guess. I could go to the grocerystore in Gudhem, but I think I´ll manage one more day before I´ll have to go there. A morning without milk is hard for me, but I can go easy on the milk today instead (If I could live on milk alone I would. I just love it :-)  ).  I could also go to Falköping and buy that paint I need, but since it´s going to be a hot day I can´t paint anyway. I could also mowe my lawn, before it gets toi hot, but I just don´t have the energy to do anything useful today :-)

I´ve started a subscription of my old home towns newspaper Göteborgsposten (or since the town has an official english name since it was built, The Gothenburg Post). It´s one of the biggest newspapers in this country and since I was born and raised there I like to see whaty´s happening in my old neighbourghood. But for all other people not living there or having any connections with that town it´s kind of crap I guess. Naturally it has all world events and news in it and some of what´s happening in the rest of our little country, but mostly it´s about Gothenburg and the districts around it.

I love the small news that most people tends to miss. Like the one yesterday about a woman in Calgary, Canada. She had called the police to report a burglary. A policeman, born in India, came and got a list of what was missing. While he was there the womans father called on the phone and she started to explain to him, in french, that she was about to make an insurance fraud because she was sure the policeman couldn´t understand french. When the policeman left her he said merci beaucoup and showed her ten peges of notes he made during her phonecall :-) :-) :-) That just shows one should never be prejudiced about other people :-) :-) :-)

I got down to the creek yesterday evening and took some photo´s. But it was so dark that most of them got to blurry. But these came out good enough to show here.

Well, I think I´ll have just enough energy to put some photo´s in here and to make a cup of tea. After that I´ll just drag myself to my livingroom and fall into a coma for the rest of the day :-) :-)
Have a great day now, I will!

Z&M! What day is it :-)

Christer.

Morning Christer,
I know that lazy feeling really well. Infact after havesting this morning i am beat adn the couch is looking really good. I actually like small town papers. For the most part they have positive and happy articles. World news always seems so depressing. Your stream looks a lot like our creek (Rat Trap Creek) so i may have to hike down there and take some pics, but not today..... TOO HOT!!!! Feels like 97F at 10am.

What is the sourmilk that you buy? We don't have that over here, or at least not on the Eastern Shore.

Hi Christer,

That was my day yesterday. I had many things to do and did none of them. Went for a walk with the dog and made a half-hearted attempt at cutting brush which I gave up on after a few minutes. Too hot. I didn't read. I didn't knit. I just vegged out on the couch with the dog.

Teodor seems to have the last laugh today.

Afternoon Grenville!
It was impossible to keep my eyes open, so I took a short nap. After that I mowed my lawn and got bitten by lots of horse fles. My arms were covered of my blood since I hit rather many of them working there :-) :-)

How shall I describe sour milk? It has the same consistence as youghurt, but the taste of it is more sour than youghurt. Nowdays we can buy it with lots of different flavors, much the same as You can find in yoghurt actually.

I hope it cools down a bit over at Yours!
Have a great day now!
Christer.

Hi Woody!
I always miss when trying to get a photo like that otherwise, but this time he opened his mouth just when I was taking a photo of him :-) :-) That´ll never happen again :-) :-)

Have a great day now!

Hi Joyce!
That´s so annoying when it happens. A couple of weeks ago it happened all the time to me. But it has been better these last days thankfully.

Kefir is the russian sour milk and it´s a bit sweeter than ours. Over here we can´t find Kefir with fruit in it, here it´s au naturel so to speak. Even if I do like our sour milk with different taste I do prefer the one with no extra in it. That with serials or strawberries in the morning and the day will be great :-)

Have a great day now!
Christer.

I say "It's YOUR VACATION! Relax, nap, take wonderful photos!" (I love that last one best!)
As far as me and milk...EEEWWWWWW!
I can't stand it! I like Vanilla Soy milk on my cereal or I can stand skim or fat free but It has to be ice cold and only on cereal. The other day I accidently bought 2%- gross! Too milky! LOL!
Now I couldn't live without Diet Sprite! I need that bubble and fizz!

Christer,
I'm with you in not wanting to do anything. For a long while I sat on the deck, drank lemonade and read. It was, for me, a lovely day despite the heat and humidity.

Hi Z&M!
I was so lucky getting that photo! He just sat there looking cute when I took it. Just when I pressed the button he made a big yawn :-) :-) I thought You might like it :-)

Great that Your computor is back! 22 viruses!! You get them from all those photo´s you´ll get by email I´m afraid. There is this free program called "Spy Bot" that is really great in catching those viruses that our normal anti virus programs miss. I´m never without it!
Have a great day now!
Christer.

Hi Cindi!
Yes it is my vacation so it shouldn´t bother me to have a day like this. But I did mowe my lawn after a nap anyway :-) :-)

I never drink any milk less than 3% and I drink atleast a litre a day (a bit more than !/4 of an US gallon) :-) But I almost never drinks sodas or lemonade of any kind :-) :-)
Have a great day!
Christer.
