I feel a bit tired after working overtime today, but I didn´t miss much here at home since it has been raining heavily all day. Well it did rain, but stopped when I came home and now the sun is shining again. I now live in a mosquitoe paradise.
But I prefere mosquitoes in comparense with flies to be honest. They don´t come in hundreds or thousands like the flies did this summer and the itching stops after a while. Most of us gets immune towards the itching thing they put in us so the blood doesn´t clog while they are drinking. So in a couple of days I will start to ignore them again.
I went to the second hand shop in Kvänum last week and looked at the watch I told You about, but I didn´t buy it. Instead I bought two tea pots and one old coffe pot. One of the tea pots looks like most teapots does nowdays and the other one is really, really uggly :-) :-) It´s rather new and made in a japanese style that probably was intended to remind the owner of the old age. But the colors are to strong and the figures are drawn poorly but I just couldn´t resist it :-) :-) The coffee pot is however rather old and made here in Sweden by Rörstrand. Unfortunally there were no cups belonging to it.
They did have a set of tea table ware with lots of cups and different plates in a chinese style. The china is very thin and the colors a bit to strong for my taste though. It was a bit to expensive too to be honest. I can take photos of the pots I bought it You want to. I think I´ll go back and check for more things next week.
Now it´s time to make a new pot of tea. I just made one but it tastes strange. I think I put in to much tea leafs so it´s rather unpleasant to drink :-)
Have a great day now!

I like those woodzy shots today Christer. Very nice and colorful. I would like to see what you are describing. I have friends who collect tea pots from all over the world. The wife had a collection of ceramic clowns. Enjoy your tea!
hi christer...i would love to see pics of what you bought! we are supposed to get a storm tonight and i am keeping my fingers crossed. we really need it. i love your last mushroom pic today. it could be framed! joyce
Please post some pictures, Christer… I, too, love the last mushroom picture… So far as the mosquitoes and flies are concerned, I guess you've given up the idea of covering your body with their grease? To each his own, I suppose…

Hi Christer,
Beautiful shots today. I like the one of the dirt road. It makes me want to explore.
I don't believe I have ever gotten immune to the anticoagulant that our mosquitos inject and I have lived here a long time. The more they bite the itchier I get and the bite spots itch for days. Even when they are almost healed they can flare up with itchy again. Bats and chimney swifts are two of my most favorite night fliers because they eat lots of mosquitos.
Have a great day.
Hi Z&M!
I like to walk around in that part of the forest but haven´t been there almost all summer. Unfortunally Ticks loves that place too :-)
Have a great day now!
Christer.
I do hope You´ll get that storm and some cooler weather now! It´s been to hot for to long over at Yours now!
Have a great day now!
Christer.
Hi Sharlene!
My Favourite photo is the seventh photo with several small mushrooms in it.
I don´t think those things that is supposed to repell mosquitoes really works. But I have lots of mosquitoe bites now, but only a few itches yet.
Have a great day now!
Christer.
Hi Caryn!
I have lots of mosqitoe bites now and only a few actually itches. Perhaps it has to do with what species of mosquitoes it is that bites? Or that we perhaps has a genetic variation that helps us get immune towards that anticoagulant thing they put in us? I´m glad that I get immune :-) That itching is really terrible!
I love bats and they do eat a lot of mosquitoes :-) But we don´t have Chimney swifts over here, but our swallows are great mosquitoe eaters too :-)They are actually flying around my cottage at the moment eating lots of mosquitoes now :-)
Have a great day now!
Christer.
Gillar verkligen din nya fina Rörstrands kaffekanna, vilket klipp!!

Christer.
