I mean they really aren´t built for that cold weather.

Yes, baby proof houses goes well for people with dogs too. I´ll have to do that better.

I think it´s nine hours from Vancouver to us in time difference. So most of it will be in the evening and late night here. So I can really watch it when I´m at hospital :-) :-)

Have a great day now!
Christer. The cottage by the Cranelakehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07521318192039394408noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-948212455535029702.post-13562680785661382242010-02-12T17:31:39.816+01:002010-02-12T17:31:39.816+01:00Hi Linda!

I do...I like the photos of the older buildings too. I do see some comparing qualities in the new construction to what we have here. I am assuming they build them out stronger for harsh winters than they would build them for our Florida tropical weather, although you wouldn't really know it this year. We've had the worst winter for coldness on record. Time to move to Miami. Good idea to keep the TV going at the hospital. I'm arranging my schedule so I can be home earlier than usual. I think our coverage is like noon here when it's morning in Vancouver. Your episode with the dogs reminded me of last weekend. We baby proofed the kitchen cabinets because starting next week we have the new born baby here 7 hours a day. We are practicing for when he starts to crawl. It won't be long! You should baby proof your house before going in for surgery. Whoever helps you won't appreciate cleaning up after the dogs everyday. Enjoy your tea!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-948212455535029702.post-40359234427638441932010-02-11T21:41:54.038+01:002010-02-11T21:41:54.038+01:00Hi Christer,

They're like naughty two year olds getting into things.

Remind me again of when your surgery is taking place so I can send good thoughts your way.

Regards,

Linda in Chapel HillAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-948212455535029702.post-11574728503666520582010-02-11T20:51:32.921+01:002010-02-11T20:51:32.921+01:00Hi Kat!

I do enjoy these tours.

It is such a long process to prepare for surgery.

I had a dog who could open the bag and strew all the trash throughout the house in about 5 minutes if I happened to be foolish enough to leave a filled bag in the kitchen.Kathttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11200177056135281932noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-948212455535029702.post-78132958806798988872010-02-11T19:42:42.440+01:002010-02-11T19:42:42.440+01:00hi christer.....naughty puppies. teddy never gets...hi christer.....naughty puppies. teddy never gets into anything. however, when i had cats she would eat cat poop. yuck! she found them to be delectable little morsels. i bet you will be very glad when you are on the other side of the surgery. my sister has had both hips replaced and her knee and she is thrilled. joycejaz@octoberfarmhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17249328159454897124noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-948212455535029702.post-17396866375113404412010-02-11T19:31:03.875+01:002010-02-11T19:31:03.875+01:00Hi Mona!

He´s a kind big gigant. Like I heard on the radio, the wheel is spinning but the mouse is dead :-) :-) :-) Hector on the other hand is like his old grandmother was, to smart :-)

I´m soo looking forward to this surgery now. I´m tired of not being able to do and go like I wish. But soon :-)
Have a great day now!
Christer. The cottage by the Cranelakehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07521318192039394408noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-948212455535029702.post-62245081334475961812010-02-11T19:23:00.262+01:002010-02-11T19:23:00.262+01:00I love the older buildings you showed in town. Lo...I love the older buildings you showed in town. Lovely.
Dogs..well..that's what they do. I remember when I was staying with son #3 for his kidney replacement surgery, he said his dog Brian NEVER ever barked when he came home and it was because of Mele that all the barking took place. I told him that Mele had never barked when I came home and that it was Brian! Neither of us thought the other one was right. Sometimes when we drove up in the driveway and got out of the car, the dogs would be barking and barking wildly, we wouldn't go inside. We would just stand outside until they stopped. One time we just got back in the car and drove away. :) Poor things! They were confused and didn't bark much at all when we returned. We just drove around the block! :) The point is that when I moved out and Mele was alone again, she has never barked once when Howard and I come home. She waits quietly by the door to great us! So..probably Danny and I were both right. Dogs, like children, act up more when they are with their peers than when alone! :) Thus, the cat box incident..the open dog food and the other mischief they get into. Two heads are better than one, and THREE! Wow! The cottage is their Disneyland when you are gone!
Enjoy your tea.
Mona

How I hate going to doctors anymore. I will be glad when this surgery is all over for you and you are healed and back to your life without pain! Take care, Christer! :)Wsprsweetly Of Cottageshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17990765326246470929noreply@blogger.com
