Looks rather strange and sort of sad. Yes, people do do strange things. I agree. I am glad I don't live in a real cold climate but in one that I have such a moderate temperature. It's funny, but unless there is snow, it really does not look cold where you are. I smiled when I saw the beginning of the tree tops turning green. Soon now it will all be dark through there...such beautiful countryside! I am looking forward to seeing the pond this year.
MonaWsprsweetly Of Cottageshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17990765326246470929noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-948212455535029702.post-61570767855065037312010-04-25T07:00:18.208+02:002010-04-25T07:00:18.208+02:00Hejsan Mimmi och välkommen!

But the sun warmed up the air and it almost got nice inside after a while :-) But now all winter is gone inside my little cottage :-)

It shouldn´t be any problems with rooting cuttings from the Rosemary. You can have them in water and they should start giving roots within a week or so. Or You can put them in pots with sandy soil. If I remember correct they should be a bit woody in the bottom. Or was that when one took cuttings in autumn? Why don´t try both woody and not woody cuttings if You have enogh.

Have a great day now!
Christer. The cottage by the Cranelakehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07521318192039394408noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-948212455535029702.post-46829115255096537622010-04-24T18:04:57.041+02:002010-04-24T18:04:57.041+02:00Hi Perovskia!

And, I really want the house chilly for that. Seems to do a better job (or, it's my imagination -- but, it's my house, so that's the brain that gets to make the call!). It leaves it open to the imagination where they're going.

I understand very much about opening the windows - sometimes it feels cooler inside than it does outside (with the breeze) but you're right, it's nice to let winter 'out'.Perovskiahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02288179080765960283noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-948212455535029702.post-29677669956461590372010-04-24T14:41:50.045+02:002010-04-24T14:41:50.045+02:00Hi Caryn!

Looks like there was still some ash left to make the colors.

I think dogs go after the cleaner nozzle on the vacuum because that's the part that's moving. My dog hates the vacuum and goes to cower by the front door if I use it. He ignores the battery powered carpet sweeper, though. It would have taken perhaps five more minutes to tear it down totally :-)

I´m not sure what that is in that photo. I´ve always belived it was a pig stie or something like that, but then I realised that it had a chimney. It can have been there that a handy man lived or perhaps it is an old wash house? It is very strange, Christer, to see part of a house left, if in fact, someone was intent on removing it, tearing it down. Maybe they ran out of money and couldn't pay the demolition team for another full day to finish. I can't think why they would leave it like that. It does look strange. Is that an outhouse in the second photo from those shots? Maybe a building for tool storage? Sunshine and tea . . . sounds like a plan!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
